The only things getting talked about there have their own subreddits, and even stanadrd forums. The only people who would lose an outlet are meme-forcers, and they'll go be turtley somewhere else. If they tried to do their thing on any other board they'd be dealt with the way they should be dealt with on their own. Janitors and miss removing and banning them; their memes would be offtopic.

/pol/ and /r9k/ wouldn't do shit if they were deleted.
delete both, utterly squelch pol and betaposting on all other boards and wait until they shuffle their feet over to cripplechan or reddit.

Get all mods on deck, nuke /pol/, perma any user that has actively posted on the board in the past month, and then have the mods ready to utterly stamp out the retaliatory shitposting that will occur sitewide, along with anything that involves their so called 'Samson option'. Be ready to block IPs that attempt ddos because it will definitely happen. Keep up the zero tolerance smackdown of /pol/ posters until they give up and leave. It may take weeks but the site will be better off for it.

Please, Hiro. This NEEDS to be done for the sake of the site. It needed to be done years ago. This is your chance to do something worthwhile for a change. All the naysayers saying a purge cant happen are people afraid of losing their echo chamber. Disregard them and remove them once and for all.

The problem with board deletions is that the users would remain free to post anywhere else. I still support the nuke. Pick a day at random, hellban the entire board, then delete it.
