It's a mixture of a few well-meaning, very caring people but also a lot of shitposters/ebin trolls thinking they can influence 4chan from here trying to fuck with various boards/people.
Worst of all is Hiro stopping by here sometimes only encourages that shilling/false flagging shit even more from morons thinking he's reading all their posts. To his credit he did attempt to directly talk to /v/ recently, but that generated about 8000 posts of garbled gnashing of teeth.
