Why arent overwatch threads being curbed on /v/? Are 15 threads for 1 game really necessary? Is it really right to flag and 404 meta threads, but allow FIFTEEN Overwatchâ„¢ threads?
because /v/ is a mess

MGSV and Bioshock Infinite were much worse than this, OW is a tame puppy compared to when /v/ actually gets a new AAA game

Stop posting frog anthros. It's against rule 3.
God forbid video games are actually discussed on /v/
Dumb frogposter
This is how boards are meant to function.
There is a burst of interest so there are lots of threads. If anons don't want to discuss it they will naturally fall into the archives.
I don't even have an interest in Overwatch outside of its futa porn, but anons talking about video games is a good thing on /v/.

You wouldnt care if it was a game you liked.
Oh boy it's another "stop talking about video games on the video games board"
This happens with literally every hyped/good game that is released, were you not here when MGSV came out? Half of the threads on the first few pages were related to it (not an exaggeration)

>Is it really right to flag and 404 meta threads, but allow FIFTEEN Overwatchâ„¢ threads?
...Yes? Overwatch is a videogame, metaposting is not. This isn't hard.
>>556660
>/v/ cries when people who actually want to discuss a game instead of "gamerrrr culture xD" leave for /vg/
>/v/ cries when a popular game gets a lot of posts about it
You just can't win with you /v/idiots can you? /v/ should consider itself lucky that it's not a complete ghost town.
> Is it really right to flag and 404 meta threads, but allow FIFTEEN Overwatchâ„¢ threads?
Deleting off-topic threads and letting on-topic threads persist?! What is this madness?
Also, the trademark symbol let's me know this thread is a shitpost.
