Every mod and janitor should have an ID number, and it should be included in the table on https://www.4chan.org/bans.
The table should also be expanded to include a random sample of dismissed reports.

We need mods that would work against chan culture because chan culture translate into "i want to be allowed to shitpost and i want my shitposting to be acceptable." We need less mods that don't give a fuck about the boards they are supposed to be moderating like for example /v/. It is not a containment board no matter how low quality it's userbase is. It will only get worse if you constantly turn a blind eye IE allow chan culture to be law.

This sort of behavior is why we need dismissed reports on the list, not just bans.

That's what I meant. Make it so every ban is able to be appealed, so certain mods stop using it to punish people for posting things they do not agree with. Make sure the appeal doesn't go to the mod that banned them and a list of denied appeals are viewable to all other staff.

/a/'s moderation has actually stepped up since the past few years. Some of the shitposting has gotten worse and there are more newfags, but the mods and janitors are consequently doing a much better job at removing obvious 3DPD, corssboarder bait, and off topic shit.
