Some of my favorite boards are SFW. Allowing people to post dicks and gore would add nothing to the conversation in my opinion.
Obviously this is 4chan. But I like the idea of separating sfw and nsfw (or at least making an attempt to separate the two..i've seen plenty of dicks on /tv/).

That never happened before the concept of blue boards. Moot was just eternally butthurt about people posting porn on /a/. Then he remained butthurt about it and made /e/ too. Now that he's gone, boards should be reverted to NSFW statues and some consolidated.
/b/ and /gif/ did eventually become porn, but that's because they lack direction. Boards with rules remain fine, e.g. /pol/, which will at least make a shallow excuse when it posts nude images.
