>look through 4chanX's settings in depth for the first time as I've only ever used it for its superior filter/highlight system
>there's a mode which allows you to hide all thumbnails
>try it out
>4chan user experience dramatically improved

Holy shit, why didn't I look into this sooner? No more do I have to be distracted by shitty reaction images, uninspired macros, shitty reddit meme spam, frogposters, etc. Now I can just open images I might be interested in, judging by the context and file name.

I guess I don't have to come here to complain about shit anymore. My problems have pretty much all been solved!

>come to an imageboard
>hate to see images
You should just go back to a traditional board like SA or something. Why even come to an imageboard if its primary purpose offends your sensibilities so much?
>>
>>551780
that shit was intended for public browsing you dumbfuck hence the "W"
>>
>>551789
Hating to see shitty, offtopic images isn't the same as hating to see all images.

>>551796
Who cares what it's made for when it does the job?

I have used fap time/werk time feature for a while now
I don't know why but some images just make me really annoyed

There is no such thing, sounds like you literally just don't like 4chan.

Yes there is. Here are some examples:
Trump threads on /pol/ are clogged up with anime images
● Any discussion of atheism and religion on /pol/ and elsewhere devolves into posting images of men in their 20s with bad facial hair wearing trillbie
● South East Asia threads on /int/ are clogged up with anime images
● Threads about Sweden on /int/ or Swedish politics on /pol/ is regularly flooded with gay/trap images
● Every thread on /r9k/ regardless of topic is clogged up with frog images
● Threads on /v/ are regularly filled with nothing but reaction images when something "le epic xd" happens.
● On /sp/ before moot called for the site-wide crackdown on rule-breaking, there were entire threads with hundreds of image replies not relating to sports in any way, usually accompanied by inane, one-word comments (also not relating to sports.)

It seems to me that for years, only people on /jp/ and /m/ have been the ones who know how to properly use imageboards.

Fuck me, I just can't get a break today.
Forgot the ● on the first thing.
>>
>/pol/tard whining about anime
More proof that /pol/ are redditors
>>
>>552335
I'm as weeb as one can get, m8. And my home board is /jp/.
I just don't see why /pol/, /v/, /int/, etc. should be spammed. If I want to see anime images and discussion, I go to /w/, /a/, /c/, /e/, /h/, /d/, /u/, /y/ and /m/ - boards which I regularly use.

Or otherwise, if I wanted the latest variation of the rarest and dankest Pepe, I'd go to knowyourmeme, 9gag or one of those other reddit-esque sites. But then again I'm not interested in that, so I can avoid going there.

So you finally figured out how to ignore shit you dont like. You've just improved more than 90% of /qa/.

>Trump threads on /pol/ are clogged up with anime images

It's not that the Trump threads have anime images in them, it's that the Trump threads are being posted on an anime site.

It's just redditors trying to fit in. They post the lowest common denominator shit to try to prove they are not redditors: cute anime girls.

Everyone knows /pol/ has been growing due to a massive influx of redditors and they're trying oh-so-hard to hide it.

Trump voters = reddit.
>>
>>552326
Those are the worst communities on the site, however. Hiding images is a bandage on a gunshot wound.
Nonetheless, if it helps you browse them I guess it works. I'm happy for you, anon.
>>
>>552466
Holy shit that growth

Do whatever you like, but you're still am asshole just like everyone else you dislike.

Tip top lel.

You're not fooling anyone, redditor.

>go to a site that has its history and culture knee deep into anime and other japshit
>complain about weebshit
Everytime. Literally none of those are offtopic, and the only one that is questionable is the porn.

>only people on /jp/ and /m/ have been the ones who know how to properly use imageboards.
Don't be stupid, both are general hell. They are anything but old 4chan. Also, old 4chan was also knee deep in everything being offtopic as well, just as it was also that every second image you saw was more than likely not sfw.
