I can't comment on animu and vidya so I'd say /int/ specially seeing how it's spreading to other boards

when memes like this happen i think the answer is fairly obviously /tv/

>>>/tv/70186448
>>
If you're talking about spilling over, probably /pol/ or /int/, but generally it's not the actual /pol/ or /int/ userbase that is the problem but rather little kids who mimic the behavior they see in screencaps on reddit on unrelated boards.

Actual worst board culture is /v/ for being generally awful with thei whole "don't you dare talk about things I don't like"-schtick, and /a/ for being elitist and contrarian

That was Australia. They always do this shit.
>>
/a/ & /int/
>>
>>546095

Define worst. I could easily say /mlp/ or /b/ then again all the porn boards are pretty terrible (you could say they spread to /b/ and partly responsible for why it's a lost cause).

[r9k] is bad but I think that's because of outside influences, not really the "culture" in and of itself.
>>
/tv/ creates the worst memes and is full of faggots.

what did he mean by this?

Did that shit start on /tv/? I should have known.
>>
>>546095
All board cultures are cancer
Board ""culture"" is just syononym for shitposting that is acceptable

>/a/ for being elitist
I actually like that they are at least trying to preserve their board culture. Elitism is not a bad thing either since it fosters quality discussions. Imagine /lit/ discussing fifty shades of gray. Absurd. There are other sites for that.
>>
>>546558
Roastie detected. I think you mistook this site for leddit.
>>
>>546575
>elitism is not a bad thing
come on now don't tell me you actually believe that. their board culture is awful and is centered around average quality anime while condemning almost everything else as shit. that and they lack self-awareness that they are just as awful as /v/ or /pol/. /a/ being elitist to preserve their shitty board culture being a good thing is one of the largest crocks of bullshit on this site.
>>
>>546819
It doesn't matter if you think it's a good thing or not, a board needs self-moderation to keep filth out that mods don't bother with.
>>
>>546822
more often than not, the self-moderation is just as low quality though. it's easier to think a board isn't shit if everyone plays along with the hive-mind while you drive dissenters out with aggressive board culture.
>>
>>546209
I still feel pity that the general userbase chose shitposting as the "standard" of 4chan and not something actually fucking productive.
>>
>>546825
I don't remember claiming that my board isn't in a poor state. There are lots of problems but there are still good discussions to participate in, which is what matters.
>>
Definitely /pol/. I wouldn't even call it "board culture" in their case. It's pretty much entirely off-site altrighters invading.

/pol/ is a board of peace. The shitposters are an extremist group who do not represent the majority of /pol/lacks. They are merely highjacking our memes to cause havoc. Please do not continue to spread /pol/phobia and bigotry and instead embrace the diversity of our opinions.

Way to prove his point faggot.

You idiots have to inject politics into every discussion, and anyone who tells you to fuck off back to your containment board MUST be s SJW, because there's no other way that anyone would be irritated with you spamming trump and le epic anti-SJW memes xDDDD

Also, /pol/ is the most reddit board. Proof? /pol/ represents the vast majority of screencaps/posts made to /r/4chan

Fuck off back to >>>/pol/ and then reddit

I blame that shithole Stormfront. 4chan was so dumb and naive, it allowed themselvse to internalize the bullshit they were spewing but they'll never own up to it because "lel it's just an ebin joak XD"

There's a straight up hentai thread going on /v/ right now and if i check back, i'll bet you the mods still haven't deleted it. fuck the mods and fuck /v/. i understand the mods are human but damn it why even take up the job when you don't do it properly? asshats.

>>

Mods have no sense of shame.
None of them care for /v/ since it's a containment in their eyes.
>>
/tv/ and /v/
Board culture revolves around boogeymen and who can out meme which board first.
>>
OP is a massive chode but I'd like to talk about the cesspool that is /v/. It has 2 massive problems from what I can tell:

1. "Video game culture" does not exist. Or at least does not exist in the way most people think (or what the magazines claim to be). It is not an individual identity nor it is not a single homogeneous group. It it a hodge-podge mix of demographics and cultures (reflecting the many kinds of games available); many of which are diametrically opposed to each other. Any topic on culture is literally fuel for flaming; these many separate cultures and groups have become part of the individual anon's identity, and people can never have a fruitful argument about something that's part of their identity. By definition they're partisan.

2. Alot of posts suffer from what I call "deviant-art syndrome". The affliction comes from the multitude of shitty low-effort fan art that the aforementioned site squirts out by the truckload. It does so by allowing idiots to comment on shitty artists; so long as one idiot says it looks good than the whole effort doesn't feel wasted by the artist so he continues without improvement on shitty art. Most of /v/ does this: most posts is for validation about shitty opinions or taste in videogames. It is absolutely mindboggling how far some anons on that place would go just for someone to agree with them on whatever console/game they bought, what some awful person surrounding videogames said, or even what to like/dislike about anything at all (not including videogames)

/v/ seems to have a gift for taking anything off-topic and turning it into "board culture".
But, my answer has to be /int/ due to its conversion into a board of chat rooms.
>>
Honest question, what do people actually dislike about /v/ "culture"?
Friday night threads, 4:00 am threads, and filename threads are all great. It always seems to me that lack of moderation is the only real problem and many of the other issues are just because it has a large userbase.

>>
>>548126
Because none of those things usually have nothing to do with video games and whatever meme catches on is deems "le epic /v/ culture" like that pizza guy shit in 2011-2012
>>
/b/, what little left of its culture that exist tbqh
>>
/v/ and /tv/, since everything that ever happens is somehow "board culture".
>>
/lit/. Everyone there is so concerned with earning each other's approval that they won't talk about anything other than "classics." No discussion of living authors, even ones that are critically respected. Practically no discussion of new books. It's the only media-based board that refuses to renew itself on the basis of the current state of its medium.

It's kind of like what /a/ would be like if all anyone talked about was Cowboy Bebop, TTGL and Fooly Cooly.
>>
>>548229
I don't even consider the current /b/ to be part of 4chan just like I don't consider /soc/ to be part of 4chan.

It's nothing but a rotting corpse that should have been disposed of years ago.
>>
What are the most popular boards? Those are guaranteed to be the worst.
>>
/tv/ is easily the most funny board, only their fixation on reddit is annoying.
completely unusable for serious discussions about cinema, though.
