This is not a textboard.
THIS is a textboard.
>>539680
just go to 4-ch, or bienvenidoainternet if you're a spic
>>539751
4-ch is a desert.
>>539764
this.
4-ch has only three boards where people actively post, the rest being fucking empty.
>>540541
Why would 4chan textboards be any different?
>>540547
They already have an established userbase, that is, people who already use 4chan, that might be interested, or who are already interested, in textboard culture.
>>540555
*large established userbase
>>540555
>that might be interested
they weren't. that's why they were deleted.
>>540570
Yeah, that's because before they just sat around in the background and nobody really knew about them. A reintroduction could provide a new, revitalized, and most importantly, active community.
>>540576
There were links to the textboards under the imageboards title and even then they were dead.
>>540578
Just because there's a link doesn't mean people will click it. If a person is there to use the imageboard, they're going to use the imageboard, not sit and stare at the title of the board.
>>540585
also to add on to this: nothing really major / "ebin" happened on the textboards, so not many people bothered visiting them, even when knowing about them.
>>540585
Then why do you expect something different to happen now?
>>539764
Perfectly emulating 4chan's text boards which were also a desert.
>>540612
The new boards hiro's added aren't that slow, and are certainly faster than the textboards were. One of them already is a pseudo textboard.
plus, it would be a nice experiment that wouldn't use up that much space, and wouldn't be too intensive on the servers.
