If a thread is being moderated and supposedly rule-violating posts are going to be deleted, is it really too much to ask for those measures to not be so half-baked? Or that there's some consistency? Or that there's signs of life behind the scenes?
I'll give you that it's too difficult to be consistent site-wide; there are simply too many posts to be individually scrutinized. I'll give you that it's probably too difficult to be very consistent on just the board; there are over a hundred threads many with multiple hundreds of posts, and maybe that still takes too much out of one's personal life to give an 'A' effort. But if you're going to go into a thread and begin your duties, is it really too much to actually show some dedication in at least that one instance and not just single-out posts that have over three lines of text or some relatively high number of replies? Multiple posts with similar subject matter in the very reply chain, but the one with more effort and creativity (toot toot) gets not only deleted, but is exceptionally ban worthy? And in the replies to that deleted post the cheap, low-effort reaction face replies don't get cleaned up with it? A copycat multipost later in the thread only gets merely one of its posts deleted even though it was an obvious proxypost, and the samefag replies still don't get cleaned up? Even though there was precedence of that shitposting in even recent threads, but not even a thread-to-thread level of moderation consistency is within reach? Just why?

Also, when it comes to appeals, what is an acceptable one? I'll begrudgingly accept that the pic's wasn't, but is it too much to ask that when someone puts sincere effort into making one that that person can expect a real response as to why it doesn't make the cut instead of a bureaucratic, automatic output? Can there be a complimentary list to the sample bans page that shows sample appeals so this question doesn't have to be asked ever again?
Finally, as a side note, I'd appreciate if someone could spell out the logic that makes it so that legitimately shitty posts become valid to the extent of being exempt from being reportable when someone else who is banned is the one trying to report it.
This was really tough to write and I don't think I'll ever be able to get rid of the stains of the tears that fell atop my desk but I'll graciously await some answers. Thank you.

You don't know who else got banned but I'm pretty sure you weren't the only one. However, other people's shitposting doesn't excuse your own.

It's time to to take a break if getting banned for a week affects you in such a way. Even though you're apparently already ban evading it seems like taking a mod-imposed week off wouldn't be such a bad thing for your health.

Yeah I can't see other people's bans but I'm mostly referring to post deletion. And in a recent thread, some guy did some shit where he took a post right off the archive and then posted the same 15+ replies it had all over again just to make one of those /v/-tier screenshots, and none of those reposts got deleted. Now he basically does the same thing again, and like only one of many posts happened to get deleted. I guess that's an improvement though.

I didn't think I was shitposting as I explained in the op pic. But assuming it was then sure, my shitposting shouldn't excuse others' too but it most of it gets excused anyway even though it's right there in the same thread.
