I understand this is a recent AAA game release and everything but this is still kind of ridiculous.
Around 1/5th of active threads on /v/ are about Overwatch despite the fact that the game isn't even fucking out yet. You could attribute this to new game hype but even DOOM--which was a controversial reboot of one of /v/'s most beloved franchises--had more self-contained discussion prior to release.
