So after a while of just trying to get rid of boards, split them up, or just make new ones, the new plan is to just get rid of the entire website
I want this to happen just so something else can take its place.

You severely under-estimate the power of the normalfag's one-track mind. They are too emotionally invested into the site to just "let it go."
They cannot and will not accept it just disappearing or abruptly changing against their will. I'm sure you've noticed that there's no shortage of people who spam and ban evade their own boards just to make themselves heard. It had even gotten to a point where /b/ got pissed off at something stupid and DDoS'd themselves. I wish I were making that up.
If 4chan.org became a blank domain tomorrow, there would be immediate knee-jerk backlash to bring it back, despite the dozens of other chans that are already up for this very reason. Thousands of emails will be sent, dozens of online petitions would be made, and they would finally populate the other chans ONLY to gather support to bring 4chan back. And of course, someone will eventually buy up the domain and recreate 4chan as their own vision of "the way it was always meant to be."

why don't you just edit your hosts file and block yourself from accessing it?
