Seriously, /qa/ is an awful place to inflict upon yourself outside of fun threads like this happening thread. It's all these people who fight wars over boards while completely misrepresenting what every board is actually like. Hell, the reason why the happenings thread is so good is because it actually shows what's going on. I feel like I've overhyped this post a bit, but oh well. The important thing is that it launched me into this train of thought.

We had new pone today and something really interesting happened, a few seasons ago there was this one episode where one of the characters cloned herself multiple times, at the end of the episode the main characters did a test to find the real one and blasted all the other clones from existence, after the episode a lot of people kept talking about the chances of the main characters having fucked up and blasting the original without realizing (the clones had a slightly different behavior after all) or any of the clones escaping, years later this new episode shows up where for a few seconds one of the fucking clones shows up in the background along with the supposed original that was saved back them, leading to tons of discussion about the possibility of this character we had until now being fake or one of the clones adopting a new identity

This reminds me of these couple of episodes of Star Trek Voyager where they get trapped on a "demon planet" which clones the ship and crew before they escape. In a later episode it's revealed that the clone Voyager crew has resumed their journey believing themselves to be the real one. Unfortunately, they all die horribly, but it leads to a lot of speculation about if any of the previous episodes were about the clone crew and not the real one, and stuff like that.

As someone who lived in a part of Australia were getting shit like 50C is normal, I disagree. While humid is pretty shit, I much prefer it over dry. At the very least, you can tolerate humid weather, but dry weather just really fucks with you. Drys your skin, drys everything and just in general makes living very uncomfortable.

In my experience appealing a ban evasion ban is enough to get it lifted, presumably because the mods figure that if you were a ban evader you would just evade that ban too instead of waiting to appeal. Also it appears a guy who used to be a dev held his gf hostage and was released into the care of his mother.
