Abe plans to announce that Japan plans to bring over 150 Syrian refugees over a period of 5 years.
Literally every comment section and anonymous forum is furious abou these two events.
I expected GirlsChannel (an anonymous site for female users) to be a bit more compassionate about the refugee crisis but almost 100% of them are against it. (one post in particular has over 3000 upvotes).

/r/japan is mostly weebs and i wrote off newsokur since it seems to be an offshoot of 2ch but i'll dig around.
some of these comments are hilarious. 2ch is getting mad at the neets and anime otaku and telling them to get jobs and procreate. i wonder if the threat of immigration will have an affect on japan's birth rate.
