Now hear me out for I'm not just bitching but trying to find out what, or more when, things went wrong.
Long story short I've been lurking here for about five years and now I can't stand this horrible website anymore. 4chan has always been somewhat crappy but now it has nothing but porn and idiots. The porn aint even good on here.
There used to be a time where you'd learn things in here, discover new things on all field and have thoughtfull conversations with anons. I remember spending nights before the screen discussing geopolitics on /k/, philosophy on /x/ or just having fun with other anons on /b/.
Now, no matter the board, most of the posters are awfully ignorant, biased and aggressive. You can't have a fucking discussion with anyone because you'll encounter faggots "trying to prove their point" , leaving place only for aggressive "debates" leading nowhere. I've lurked both reddit and 4chan before, left reddit because of the communith but now I'm finding the exact same problems among the anonymouses of 4chan.
So I'm asking ya, what course of events have led this website to become mainstream and filled with underage idiots and normies ?
I'm well aware that we've always made noise around us, which often led us to appear on big medias, but since when have you noticed a clear decrease in posting and community quality ?
And please don't even fucking bother cherry picking one word from this text and spouting some crap about memes.
Alternatively, what other chans are still decent ?
