Can we talk about why pro wrestling is on /asp/? It isn't a sport or a competition, its strictly a /TV/ show, why not mover it to /TV/?

KITTY~

Because /asp/ was pretty much created specifically so that wresting threads would fuck off /sp/.
Nobody wants those autists.

/asp/ was created for people that don't participate in main stream sports, but still in activities that can be considered a sport or intense activity.

it has totally swamped /asp/ - taking a quick scan it looks like all but three of the threads in the catalog are wrestling - and two of the old /asp/ threads still up are generals which obviously have an advantage - it was the same last time I looked at it, too.
I remember when /asp/ was full of a variety of threads - snowboarding, MMA, HEMA, parkour etc. - this is like an invasion of an outside species devastating an ecosystem.
it's more or less unusable now if you want to read threads on anything other than wrestling - wrestling really needs its own board.

>wrestling really needs its own board.
No, those faggots just need to stop spamming like monkeys and get banned.

Out of all the suggestions on /qa/ making a specific /wwe/ containment board should be the easiest no-brainer of them all. I'd personally like for there to be an /asp/ because I, like everyone else complaining about this issue, would use it, but there isn't one right now due the pro wrestling threads. /asp/ was not made for pro wrestling, it was made for discussion of sports like what this >>526310 guy said: outdoor sports, MMA, HEMA, etc. As OP mentioned, pro wrestling is not even a sport or a competition, it's a scripted TV franchise and isn't a sport or an alternative sport.
As a further point /asp/ was NOT created for wwe shitposting - it was added alongside other niche boards for activities people posting actually participate in like /gd/ and /out/.
