I definitely noticed a quality drop when phoneposting became common.
There needs to be serious consideration of just detecting user agents and banning phone users from posting anywhere but /b/, it's out of fucking hand at this point. They save 5–10 images that they spam relentlessly, barely ever write posts longer than a sentence or two long (most of the time it's just short, vague and dismissive greentext), and disappear in a half hour but are immediately replaced with other disposable phone shitposters looking to kill a little time. If they wanna pop into a thread and greentext with a reaction image, /b/ is the perfect place and they can fuck off the rest of the boards forever. They're dragging the entire site's quality of discussion down. It was fine several years but they've become too prevalent to ignore anymore.

I see more quality posts than bad ones. They always ask the blatantly obvious question everyone seems to be missing on /v/. Like naming an actually good PS4 exclusive besides Bloodborne. I see that pop up a lot and the threads are always shitshows of contradictions and false pretense. It's one of the best topics to see discussed on /v/ and it was cultivated by a phoneposter (we call them Drakeposters, get it right, cunt).
