At what point did /pol/ start to infiltrate /tv/? Why do /pol/tards have such a strong presence on that board?

They probably watch Game of Thrones
We really, really need to delete /pol/
>>518973
You really, really need to off yourself.

The people you think of as "/pol/tards" are from the rest of the internet and just act like racist asshole and election season partisans because they are posting Anonymously and aren't used to it. If you go to the comment sections of most large newspaper sites that feature anonymous commenting you will see the same "/pol/-style" comments from people who don't know what 4chan or /pol/ is.

Ok, my friend ;)

Every single of those sites also features users telling those retards to go back to /pol/.

Consider that the people who post anonymously in the comment sections of newspaper sites don't know what /pol/ is for the most part. They are older people mostly who don't spend a lot of time on the internet. But when they find out about what /pol/ is from the one comment in one thousand telling them to "go back to /pol/" then they come here and don't know how to handle it.
Probably when cancer like you showed up in the last 2 or so years as well
You posted it.
Baneposting attracted the crossboard memesters and much of /pol/ is simply memes.
