>>>/tg/46986152
Hi, can somebody please explain why Quest Threads are being posted on /tg/-Traditional Games instead of /qst/-Quests?
>>514090
Stubborn tripfags, lazy mods.
>>514093
Yeah, I've been reporting every quest thread that pops up but I've not seen them moved yet.
>>514090
>>>/tg/46985667
>flagrant rulebreaking
why

Actually there's SIX quest threads on /tg/ when there's an entire board for them
Literally why
>>514201
Can't help but notice that the quests that people insist on posting on /tg/ look like complete shit anyway. There wouldn't be anything lost if these people stopped doing quests entirely.
We need a zero tolerance policy, at any rate.
>>>/qst/12603
The mod has been active on /qst/. Please let them know about the rulebreaking.
*know body cared to know *
>>514090
Because it's a trial board created against the wishes of the its intended constituents. There's nothing mandating that they go to /qst/
>>514274
The board isn't for the questfags. It's for the rest of us who want you gone.
Hopefully the mods finish the job and ban you from /tg/.
>>514295
>*stands smugly behind his imaginary giant friend*
why do you keep posting this? Are you the "only twelve people" person too?
Are you guys fucking stupid? There's no requirement to move to qst just yet because it's a trial board.
>Thirteen posts, six IPs total. Two of them are from people who enjoy quests
That sounds about right. About the same number of people who have been bitching for months for this new board no one wanted.
>>514302
This thread can only have six maximum posters at the time I posted this. So it's looking more and more possible.
Spam /qa/ some more like a big baby.

counterpoint: /d/ and /aco/
>>514302
Look at the vast majority of /tg/ in huge threads pushing to get quests gone.
Oh wait, that's bullshit

>Why the fuck is there no /qu/ board?
>/tg/ is completely strangled by quest threads that aren't /tg/ related, and honestly belong on their own board than on /tg/.
https://desustorage.org/qa/thread/71998/#71998
>We really need a /quest/ or /rp/ or something on 4chan.
Back when, Moot decide that /tg/ should be a dumping ground for any sort of quest, which I felt detracted from the board. Not that it stopped quest threads on other boards, but it still gave /tg/ lots of bloat.
https://desustorage.org/qa/thread/170154/#q170154
>Fa/tg/uy here.
>How can we get Great Japanese Overlord to ban Quest threads on /tg/?
>Only a tiny minority of /tg/ are questers and they are the worst part of the board.
>Please cure us of this cancer, Hiroyuki
https://desustorage.org/qa/thread/336578/#336578
>Can we please ban Quest threads from /tg/ already or give them their own boards? They're fucking cancer. The front page used to be 20% quest threads, so people said "Leave them there, they don't belong anywhere else!"
>Then the front page was 50% quest threads. "Well, it's basically like roleplaying, so you should be fine with it, right?"
>The front page is now, on average, 80% quest threads. These are not traditional games. They're barely fucking games at all. It's just some fucking autist making a Choose Your Own Adventure-equivalent VN. I know /tg/ wasn't exactly brimming with content before, but now even the D&D/40K/MtG threads are becoming scarce and just replaced with these cancerous fucking quest threads.
>They are literally killing /tg/.
etc
Now take into account all the metathreads deleted on /tg/. And all the threads on /q/.
but sure, nobody ever complained about quests
Don't worry, give it a few days and mods will start purging the cancer from /tg/.
>>514325
>nobody ever complained about quests
I was going to give an actual counterargument, but then I realized you're either an idiot or a liar arguing in bad faith.
How does it feel living in a world where you can't ignore threads you don't like? Must be pretty stressful
>>514325
>Quoting individual posts
Metathreads about quests literally haven't been deleted for months before this release. 40 or so people total were arguing in them until well past autosage, with a healthy dose of people telling metashitters to fuck off.
/q/ threads never got more than a handful of posts each, even though there were a ton of them made. All it takes is one shitter to post a thread. Just look at those dumb frogposters who have been flooding various boards with 150 versions of the same frogthread over the course of a few hours. There might literally only be one of them, and they post hundreds of threads.
>>514330
nice rebuttal, questfag
>>514332
It's no rebuttal. I'm just insulting you for being a dishonest cunt.
>>514330
>go to work

>there's shit everywhere
>try to find something you want but you can't because everything is covered in shit
>sit down on chair to use computer
>monitor is covered in shit
>keyboard as shit all over it and bits of sweetcorn
>complain to boss
>"wooow just ignore the bits you don't like"
>>514337
Let's be fair, questfags say it's only 8% of /tg/, so it's more like all of that, but with just one huge, fat log of shit in the middle of the room. It's easy enough to walk around, but you can't help but constantly notice it because of the scent and the swarm of 200-250 flies that surround it because of how much they love it.
>>514337
>There's shit everywhere
Suspension of disbelief broken. Do not pass start, do not collect $200.
Repeating something doesn't make it true.
>>514337

>go to complain
>"only 8% of it is shit"
>>514343
Oh, look. 7.7%. So it's a slightly smaller log of shit, i'm so sorry.
>>514346
It must be hard keeping 150 tabs open so you can browse literally every thread on the board. Lot of maintenance as new ones are made and old ones fall off.
>>514346
You're really grasping at straws here with your bad analogies.
Are you sure you're old enough to be posting here?
>>514331
>Metathreads about quests literally haven't been deleted for months before this release.
You lying sack of shit

That's from the last couple days, and there are a couple that aren't even in the arcives like >>>/tg/46988716
You can literally not talk to questfags. It's like reality is completely subjective to them. Maybe it's that they just don't pay attention to the rest of the board, fuck.
>>514343
stop talking like a fucking faggot
>>514350
>""""""""""bad analogies"""""""""""
hes completely right though. There were less Pokemon threads on /v/ when /vp/ was made.
>>514354
Stop acting like a fucking faggot, then.
Also, find some from a few months ago. The mods and janitors are actually paying attention to shitposts now that /qst/ exists.
>>514354
>before this release
>posts threads from after the release
Really?
>>514346
>bite into sandwich
A board is not a sandwich. Or if it is, it's one that you can pick and choose the components. Consider each thread as a sandwich topping and the board as a kitchen.
To continue the sandwich analogy, by reading different threads, with the enjoyment of participating therein being equivalent of flavors, one makes a sandwich. Visiting threads is like building a sandwich; sometimes you might have a bad-tasting sandwich because you don't like pickles of something.
However, this kitchen (board) is a commercial kitchen, like Subway or something. This follows because many anons can simultaneously participate in and create threads. Just like a shared kitchen might have multiple people use it, many anons use a board.
Now, going back to pickles or red bell peppers (they personally make me gag). You certainly can dislike these toppings, but some people like these toppings.
If you can't stand the thought of a shared kitchen having ingredients you don't like, maybe a shared kitchen isn't the ideal arrangement for you. But since the kitchen has all the ingredients that you do like on your sandwiches, you're fucking stupid to leave just because they also have pickles.
>>514370
/tg/ wants to cook food in the kitchen, but questfags want to brew beer. 4chan makes questfags a brewery but questfags insist on being autistic and want to brew beer in the kitchen even though they're getting in the way or people trying to cook.
>>514370
So you think it's okay to have shit in your kitchen?
>>514354
>You can literally not talk to questfags. It's like reality is completely subjective to them.
he says as he completely ignores actual statistics and data, like quests only being a tiny fraction of /tg/, the userbase on whole not really caring much, and /qa/ only being frequented by a handful of shitters.
How is it like having reality be subjective to you?
>>514378
>/tg/ wants
Have a (You)
>>514346
Food analogy, this is the level we have sunk to.
Also
>44 / 5 / 9 / 1
Over forty four posts from nine fucking posters. Of that, two maybe three are defending quests. And you're still getting shouted down.
Where's the silent majority, whiners? You told me you had a silent majority.
>>514409
So claiming that a thing isn't /tg/ because you don't like it and then calling it literal shit in your dumb analogy isn't garbage?
We must have very different ideas of what garbage posts are.
>>514409
So you don't have a shred of logic to support your position.
Concession accepted.
>>514337
>>keyboard as shit all over it and bits of sweetcorn
What are you complaining about here? That's free food.
>>514409
There's fucking nine of you. At most. That's the 'majority' you claim to have, less than any regular quest thread currently running on /tg/.
Just stop going to /tg/, literally no one will miss all nine of you.
Fuck you guys, now I'm hungry.
>>514212
This, pretty much. /qst/ actually has some surprisingly high quality material already, like >>2903
The ones still on /tg/ are just complete garbage for the most part. Generic Waifu Quest shit.
>>514531
Okay, I fucked that up, but oh well. How do you do this? >>/qst/>>2903
>>514534
Fuck. Help me, I'm retarded.
>>514535
Three meme arrows to link to another board, my newfag friend.
>>>/qst/2903
>>514337
Not really. Mods are usually pretty good at deleting anti-quester meta posts. They don't really get an opportunity to shit everywhere like you're implying.
