/pol/ is seeing a large growth over the past months
when can we see an increase in the bump limit for threads?
300 is much too small, leading to overproduction of general threads and disarray on which one everyone is supposed to be in
help us out here mods, make /pol/ great again
>>514002
I can't believe dead as fuck boards like /a/ have 500 posts threads and we at /pol/, where the average IP count for every thread is 120, get only 300
I guess hiro is too busy adding more boards

It's better for slower boards to have a higher bump limit.
300 posts bump limit is a good thing. No board except /vg/ and I guess /qst/ now should have more than that.
Good threads reach the bump thread about 5% of the time whereas meme spam and generals hit it all the time.
I don't think this would be a positive change.

/a/ is far from dead. It's honestly a very normal speed for a big board. Boards that are as big as /a/ but faster should be split. /a/, however, needs no splits.

Thanks for the reminder to sage more often

not really, just the ratio of threads created compared to replies is more important
like /co/ has high bump limits because people will take threads to their limit more, whereas in /tv/ you just have lots of spammed threads that die with a handful (or no) replies
>>514037
Bullshit
/sp/ and /asp/ need 500 for gamethreads
Also /tv/ for whatever they call tv show gamethreads
Fucking hate /pol/
>try to make a rational argument
>get memed to hell
>try to make epic bantz
>don't get any (You)s since I'm slav and /pol/ only cares about Anglos
IT'S NOT FUCKING FAIR
>>514167
/pol/ is a place for shitposting and memeing, not actual serious discussions.
>>514036
/pol/ isnt a slow board
my idea is either increase the bump limit, or make some rolling stickies for people to post in when rallies/streams are live
