Why was he so confident in this statement to tell people to mark his words?
What went wrong?
Why didn't he save /a/?
>>508960
He wanted to, but he couldn't. /a/ loves general, even if /a/nons don't want to admit it.
They love to post the same threads everyday but they don't want to call them generals.
>>508979
This.
The sad panda thread is a general, but the general-haters from /a/ will not admit that.
>>508979
This.
>>509000
and this too.
/a/ is the 3rd most stuck up pretentious board there is. They pretend that they are better than every other board when in reality they suffer from the same problems they find with the other boards.
The most ironic part is that while most boards are good places to talk about their topics, /a/ is one of the worst places on the internet to talk about anime.
>>508979
>a/ loves general,
>implying
Moot just got rid of the mod for some reason. If you lurked the board, you'd know that general complaints are basically hourly complaints. Any time any meta discussion occurs it generally turns into why generals are bad and why the fuck aren't the mods listening.
>>509087
Your opinion on the sad panda-general?
>>509087
The sad thing is, a Jojo general, (implying that the threads arn't already that) would keep there from being 3 or more thread at all times.
>>509057
>3rd most
>>509094
They were somewhat nice before that /qa/ thread were they had days in-between them which resulted in new content and more importantly, they had different people each time. However, they are cancer at this point since that thread as they are now only a few hours apart and irc cancer. But, if they are going to be removed, they are one of the last generals to be removed simply because it is clear this is a deliberate attempt by someone to try and get the threads removed because he's assmad the concept is on the board and clearly misunderstands various things about the site.
>>509099
>3 or more thread at all times.
Who the fuck cares? It is a popular series. If it gets lots of threads, then so be it, that is the proper way to use the site. Like, 95% of those threads will at best get 20 replies and the others won't even hit bump limit. As is the natural order of things and most of the threads, even the ones that die at 20 posts, would probably be high quality than every single general combined. If they start pointless spamming, hand out bans. And no, there IS a difference between expecting someone to be polite and not spam garbage no one cares about and keeping it to one thread. The problem with those threads is its fanbase that is on /a/. A fanbase that came about from BEING generals. A fanbase that would also mostly fall into irrelevancy when their generals are nuked and they are forced to interact with non-general circlejerkingfags and their 2k filters do nothing to protect them from others.
>>509116
Can't you just accept that it's a general and has been that for some time?
>There must always be a thread.
>>>/a/140733443
If you hate generals then you must also hate the sad panda-general. You can't pretend that it's not a general just because you enjoy the thread.
>>509122
You clearly lack reading comprehension and aren't exactly doing too well with that bait of yours. We aren't in a general right now, so no one here is going to be stupid enough to give you the reply you want. But, keep going with that black and white retard shit you have going on there.
I don't hate all generals, I just hate /sp/ general style ""humor"" ok
>>509130
>lalala the sad panda thread isn't a general
Dumb namefag.
>>509134
You still lack reading comprehension and are only reading what you want to hear. As expected of someone who has some odd vendetta against the thread type.
>>509137
>As expected of someone who has some odd vendetta against the thread type.
So I'm just like you then? You hate generals (with one exception of course) for some reason.
>>509116
>they had days in-between them which resulted in new content
All they do is post links from exhentai. That isn't creating new content, it's fucking link aggregation. Reddit in a nutshell. Unless the anons who fester in those threads are actively uploading raws, nothing they do results in new content.
>>509194
What the fuck are you on about with your boogieman shit? Is this the DJT thing all over again were generalfags have something retarded going on so they go around spreading their shit everywhere and then claim everyone who even slightly doesn't like generals is their retarded boogieman? Fu
>>509111
Yeah, /a/ is bad, but as long as both /jp/ and /lit/ are still around it will still only get 3rd place.
>>509116
>A fanbase that would also mostly fall into irrelevancy when their generals are nuked and they are forced to interact with non-general circlejerkingfags and their 2k filters do nothing to protect them from others.
How can you say that and honestly believe it when the waifuing on /a/ is on the same level as /c/?
Jojo is bad but it is far from the worst thing.
Actually your whole post was such a long winded rant whatever point you try to make is lost.
>>509220
>Actually your whole post was such a long winded rant whatever point you try to make is lost.
Good.
>>508960
Because he was a newfag.
>>508960
He was the hero /a/ needed, but did not deserve.
>>509220
He's a known retard, don't even bother.
>>509242
And you're an even bigger retard. So shut up.
>>509163
>Reddit in a nutshell.
Good point. The sad panda-general is literally r.eddit. It's like /r/4chan, where they are discussing 4chan on r.eddit. Discussing exhentai on 4chan in the same manner is just disgusting.
>>509282
>milkless cereal :(
And any words you have said have lost all value.
>>509116
In regards to the 3 or more threads I dont mind when a thread has its own merits especially when a general is being shitposted and you want a small discussion. but retards that start a thread with the same topic at the same time on catalogue really rustle my jimmies. See Erased ending. That was terrible. Also Gutz getting off the boat to a lesser extent. It would help if people bothered to look in the archive before making any thread but I doubt that would happen.
>>509163
>Having anons image dump their entire futa is better
No thanks. Most people would rather pick and choose.
>>508960
Because, despite what you say, generals are harmless and forcing a no generals rule is more likely to cause damage to the board than to fix anything, simply because people are retarded and mods are newfags. I've seen people call threads made about shows in their airing day generals, more than once, and if clueless mods notice those people after that possible rule happens they're going to try getting rid of them too. Then, /a/ will be left with no discussion about anime because threads about anything will need to be scattered about, and the board will have to be at least twice as fast to accomodate every single person making a thread about any topic in an episode they want to discuss.
tl;dr Don't listen to anti-generalfags, they stealthily want to destroy /a/. Things are fine as they are.
By the way, I don't care about any of the current threads that would be called generals by an uninformed person.
>>509219
Funnily enough /jp/ is only bad thanks to /a/.
>>508960
He was asking people to report him. "Mark my words." But nobody did because nobody on this fucking site actually reports.
>>508960
Is this only on /a/, or every board? Eternal generals need to be fucking destroyed.
>>513675
>i have no idea what generals means and instead of fighting a problem im going to claim how fighting that problem with destroy everything because they just will because of silly mods and because the users who dont like generals actually just want to kill the board
Fucking retard.
