I agree, even though I have done it myself on occasion. To be fair, unlike them I am always familiar with the show the character is from and intend to watch it sometime.

Marii Buratei, or in Japanese name order "Buratei Marii." All the names in that show are wordplay of some sort so hers is meant to be "Bloody Mary." Also, since it's rakugo, the tei indicates that it's a stage name.
Rakugo is actually very interesting stuff. Joshiraku is just a fun show with cute girls making a bunch of very Japanese puns and references, but I recommend Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu if you want to see a serious take on rakugo and learn some things about it.

I used to do that before I got into anime, but once I started watching it more heavily and sorting images by series I stopped seeing the point in saving anything from series I hadn't seen before..
