What happens if i get an sd card from a phone thats connected

What happens if i get an sd card from a phone thats connected and switch it to a random phone that isnt connected? Ive tried it. It worked for a while. The internet and everything, but right now it just doesnt work. Im guessing it got disconnected because its being used on another phone? Im not sure just need some advice or help

The phone im using has a micro sim but the sim i wanna use is nano im guessing. It worked last night but now it isnt. Im guessing the company noticed i switched? Idk im not good at this

I've trimmed SD cards that were too large successfully, not that way though. It's probably a bad connection.
