I truly hate that fucking faggot. He used to ignore DMCAs, he used to steal content from everyone, he used to steal copyrighted content. Have a watermark in your OC? No problems, Eric will crop the shit out of your content and paste his own watermark on it.
He turned his own users into a fucking javascript botnet and ddosed SA. When his site was raided, he threatened to sue YTMND.
But the best part is that the motherfucker sold his shit ass site for $20 MILLION dollars.

Yeah, I can see why people hate Reddit since it's the same exact problem as Ebaums World. The difference is, Reddit isn't solely about 4chan reposts, highly encourages including the original source, and the users who repost things aren't making money off doing so. So it's not AS much of a problem, and its userbase is well aware of what the site is. It's just r/4chan that needs to die.

The difference is that cheezburger actually listened to DMCAs, ebaums fucking didn't. Cheezburger also didn't try to hide where they get content from, ebaums did. Bauman decompiled Alan Becker's Animator vs Animation .SWF file, removed Albino Blacksheep's watermark from there and uploaded the modified version to his site. That's fucking ridiculous.

ebaum didn't steal only from 4chan, he also used to steal from Fark, Something Awful, 7chan, YTMND, B3ta, Albino Blacksheep, Newgrounds and pretty much every site that produced OC. Reddit does the same thing, but instead of stealing for money, they do it for upvotes, for reputation. They're a bunch of attwhores, /r/4chan isn't the only problem there, 96% of that site needs to be nuked.

I remember a week back in 2007 or 08 when /b/ ddos'd sys.4chan.org with LOIC and the copy of LOIC that kept getting distributed had a trojan in it that locked out all user accounts on windows machines. My memory is hazy from that time but I think it was around the time that moot forced everyone to post with the names of G4TV hosts like Morgan Webb and Adam Sessler.
