Is there any chance we can keep the layout when the day is over? I frequently browse 4chan on the train, and this is a godsend since I don't want people looking at my phone and seeing this site.

You could probably set up something to use the custom CSS in their settings, as it most likely won't be deleted entirely
>>483509
I think we should keep it as the default skin, and make the style menu reeeeallly fucking hard to find. The chemo dose would outshine even /pol/ harbour and /b/-day in terms of newfag extermination, there'd be fucking bodies everywhere. I say keep it on as well.

The mobile site is unchanged
https://s.4cdn.org/css/md2016.css
open and paste that in your custom css setting.

Here's the style from last halloween too.
>>483509
You could always use Stylish and a custom style
>>483518
I don't agree with keeping it as a default skin but having it as an option for wanting to use 4chan in public in a way that it looks like you are using a different website can be useful. I hope the devanons do not permanently remove this and add it to the optional themes.
I don't like change.
>>483518
What makes you think it wouldn't attract newfags instead? OP sure sounds like one.
>>483540
I withdraw my statement. I am talking about using it in an area where you can be prone to people peeking or glancing on your device.
>>483544
Have the balls to do it without caring what people think.

cool
I actually like this layout. The only things I don't like is the images being reduced to a circle unless expanded and the slashes removed from the boards list. And of course the names.
How do you people like this layout?
It's so wasteful.
>see 4 posts on screen with g+ layout
>see 7 with normal
>>483576
Yeah, the spacing is a tad too big.

Because newfags, in this case, are 15 to 19 year olds who have spent their whole lives getting what they want (or being disgusting little faggots to everyone within earshot because they don't get everything they want, unlike the rest of their peer group) who somehow found their way here and saw it as a place to unleash the hormonal fucking fury upon an innocuous Chinese basketweaving newsgroup. They think that's what 4chan is for. Granted not all are like that, most lurk moar, but fuck me, the ones that don't..
Now if you change something, you have upset their hugbox. They either sperge the fuck out, or leave. If they sperge the fuck out and no one cares, then they leave anyway. It's a win/win IMO. Those who have rode through the afforementioned upheavals and the general fuckery that goes on around here before know this is just another day in the land of outrageous faggotry that is 4chan, crack a mountain dew and go fap to crossweave made from under-dried reeds.

I wondered what this was parodying. No wonder I didn't recognize it.

moot got hired by google
>>483529
i wonder if somehow we could see what names are available
>>483567
I love the random names. They override tripfags and namefags making this a true anonymous site
When everyone has a name, then no one is a namefag
>>483645
agreed
its somewhat ironic that giving names preserves anonymity
>>483645
>They override tripfags and namefags
That's fantastic
>>483512
this, of anything this theme will just attract redditfags

There aren't names on /trash/.
>>483682
Where the fuck the delete button has gone?
My bad, there are names on /trash/, but the names aren't shown on the catalog, contrary to /a/ for instance.
>>483687
Like on Google+, you can't delete your posts. Once you put personal information out there, it's out there for good.
