Generals have been shitting up /a/ for too long, the userbase is probably mostly reddit by now. Force all those terrible generals into their own containment board.
No.
Man, I love that picture. Anyway, I agree. /a/ is a big enough board that it honestly could stand to have a general board like /v/ does. That or just an /a2/ and anons can decide the purpose of each board. It's high time we eased the load on /a/ and created another anime board.
If every board at a General subreddit, what would the main board even be about? Like, I'm lookin' at /v/ and it seems to be 90% off topic and of the remaining 10%, half of those are stupid and/or failed baiting.
If we codify "generals" why made their own board?
In fact, shouldn't we go the other way? Make... Laconic versions of the standard boards, where each thread can only have 50 replies, the character limit is halved and threads can die of Old Age before their image/post limits are met.

Well, /v/'s problem is that it is very poorly moderated. There's tons to talk about with video games that doesn't necessitate a general.

Fuck off. We don't need to give the cancer its own little safe space. We don't need /ag/, generals just need to be plain and simple be banned. Not some limp dick 'lets be nice to everyone' solution. The cancer needs to be removed, not catered to.
Every single time this suggestion has been brought forward on /a/, the person gets told to fuck off due to how stupid the idea is. No one on /a/ wants either the generals or /ag/.

If that's the case then we need to delete /vg/ too. It's all or nothing.
>>477869
Who in their right mind would double-back and defend /vg/?
>>477654
Don't like a certain series? Then don't visit threads about that series.
>>477869
/vg/ was one of moots worst mistakes. If we could delete /vg/ and force it back into /v/ without the generals, don't you think we would demand that as well?
>>477654
>/ag/
Fuck no.
The creation of /vg/ somehow managed to make both /v/ and /vg/ worse than /v/ was before
