>get thread deleted and banned

Not even mad, just want to understand. Why are dozens of threads talking shit about well received (critically and via metascore/steam score) games okay and dozens of threads saying a mediocre to poorly received game (again critically and via metascore/steam score) okay yet this specific thread is egregious?

Mods are pissbabbies and let their own bias affect their job.
>>
Mods just delete content they don't like. The rules are a facade.
>>
>>473723
Were you not participating in or instigating a flamewar? Is that not exactly what you set out to do?

How does getting banned for one thing automatically mean another thing is okay? Mods aren't fucking wizards, they can't delete threads the exact second they show up.

No. Being critical of a game, dev, vidya practice, etc isn't automatically flamebait.

If someone makes a thread criticizing EA's business practices and policies that are anti-consumer, that isn't flamebait.

If someone makes a thread criticizing Batman Arkham Knight's poor PC performance, that isn't flamebait.

If Gaben, in a verified and official press release, said that every Steam user's games' license would expire in a week and they would have to repurchase their games, what do you think /v/'s response would be? It would have more anger and vitriol than you can imagine. Are you saying such threads discussing that topic would/should forever be banned on /v/?

You damn well know why. Also,
>putting tracking shit in your games without even informing the customer and not having it turned off by default
Devs deserve to have all their games fucking pirated.

Could some mod tell the /v/ mod that keeps banning me for posting taiko remind them that taiko is a fucking videogame character

Mods are piratefags, probably.

/v/ is becoming more and more like a circlejerk forum than a 4chan board.
Post anything that can result in -any- argument and the mods consider it a "flamewar" and ban you.

Mind giving us an example?

It was valid criticism, anon.
When you start to demonize criticism, you know there is a fucking problem because that mindset is basically what promotes and protects hiveminds.

4chan has no freedom of speech, and the moderation policy is not content-neutral. There are certain classes of opinion that you are only allowed to express if you do so with the greatest delicacy. There are further classes of opinions that you are not allowed to express at all outside of /b/.

/a/ is pretty much the same and has gotten worse over the years. The problem is that almost every thread is either a labelled general or an unlabelled general which is full of the same handful of morons who have their own sets of boogeymen and triggers, so you if happen to want to actually discuss something and notice a thread up, you end up walking into a trap by posting something otherwise completely normal but triggers the fuck out of a bunch of autistic passive aggressive spergs who will lash out at anyone who promotes conversation which for whatever inane reason offends some of the morons who linger in those threads so instead of having a normal conversation like an adult, they freak out and try to force you out of the thread just so the other perpetually offended spergs don't start throwing a tantrum. They're basically hyper overprotective parents who freak out whenever someone tries to interact with their autistic as fuck kid which the other person is entirely unaware of is a complete fucking sperg only until they trigger something entirely unexpected and the anon starts going off his fucking rocker.

The amount of times I've read people getting massively pissy and shitposting someone out of the thread using the reasoning that they should have been aware that posting that could lead to an argument they have had in the past. As though everyone else should be aware that they are complete fucking spastics who have disucssed something to death 24/7 and have since become a completely unstable mess of autism and off topic memes and a further in-group level of autism that does not see the light beyond the particular general which from the surface appear like a naturally reasonable place to want to go and discuss whatever the topic of the thread may appear to be.

so it's like a miniature version of /a/
>>

That has nothing to do with trying to say that anon who was making a valid post was flamebaiting. In fact your post has nothing at all to do with what you've said about anons post. It's a red herring at best.

>>474879
I feel sorry for any poor bastard on /a/ who legitimately desires to discuss madoka magica or aikatsu or yuru yuri -or any of the other threads that have long since discussed everything they could possibly discuss and half the thread is the same memes and inane arugments reposted over and over and over ad infuckingfinitum. I don't think /v/ is remotely as bad in this regard, as most of that shit forms their own little islands within the archipelago of /vg/. I've been saying it for years but /a/ would really improve if /ag/ was created and all the current generals moved other there. The generalfags might kick up a shit over it initially but if their generals are moved by mods, they will end up staying in them, because that's literally all they do.
>>
>>474882
>so it's like a miniature version of /a/
More or less, but without the natural displacement of autism that a larger board which doesn't allow these little islands to form, the autism is only put under immense pressure and the microcosm becomes a characterisation of the greater thing.

No, shit just gets banned again, simple as that. There is no reason to make a cancer board that is still going to spoil over to /a/. If we are going to 'contain' generals instead of banning them, it will be done by the text boards like /anime/ being added back.
