I don't think autism is a buzzword. From my experience, I and many others on this site are legitimately autistic. That's why autism comes up so much. It is easy for us to detect because we know it so well.

For most of them, it's not repetitive. 4chan has always been constantly awash in newfags to whom shit like this will be momentarily interesting. These things proliferate because by participating you help keep the thread constantly bumped to the front page where more newfags will find it.
