Which board has the most assblasted do it for free mods that ban stuff even if it's on topic?

I've heard several theories about /k/ having horrid mods that ban any second amendment threads.

Currently, there's a /wwe/ general thread WELL past the bump limit on page six, yet any attempt to make a new thread get deleted because someone has a bug up their ass over it. All the while there are a half dozen waifu threads for a particular waifu that could just as easily be condensed into a single waifu general, yet no one seems to care.

This is SUPPOSED to be so that creating new generals as soon as one hits the bump limit doesn't chase "important" threads that have been dead for literally weeks off the 10th page of a slow board. However, it's only resulted in people making a thread over every single WWE related topic, which is chasing even MORE of the dead threads off page 10.

So good work, /asp/ mod, you've fucked up literally everything.

I'd rather /k/ be over-moderated than under.
The no politics rule helps weed out a lot of bait threads, albeit at the expense of some legitimate discussion.

I'd cut them some slack on /v/. The board can be as fast as greased lightning, so they can't catch everything immediately.

Generals aren't allowed to be remade unless it hits page 8/9, you retard.

>All the while there are a half dozen waifu threads for a particular waifu that could just as easily be condensed into a single waifu general, yet no one seems to care.
These threads will always be 10x better than every general for eternity.
>>
>>455849
Did you even read the posts? They're complaining about exactly the opposite of lack of moderation. I don't go on /v/ either so I wouldn't know if these are legitimate concerns or just a handful of buttblasted ggers.
>>
Janny just deleted a nostalgia/old vidya thread on /v/ for some reason. And before some retard says take it to /vr/ - they weren't games old enough to be posted on /vr/.

Fuck you janny.

>These threads will always be 10x better than every general for eternity
It doesn't matter, they still belong to >>>/e/.
>>
>>455927
I never argued against that.
>>
>>455893
>buttblasted
I'm pretty sure they are. Too many people think /v/ is where you're supposed to go when you want to dump garbage. Some of them freak out when they get banned for posting trash.
>>
>>455823
fucking this. It's a short step from gun "politics" discussion to "niggers don't deserve to have guns".

I go to /k/ to masturbate to german engineering, not german fantasies.

/b/ for sure. Once got permabanned (only got unbanned this month) for talking about a disease this (legally aged) girl had. Got banned for "Child pornography", because apparently saying I'd still fuck a girl with this disease (it's the one michael jackson had) equates child porn.

Fuck /b/'s mods, they are fucking garbage.
>>
>>456210
Also /pol/'s are generally lenient but have some sort of hatred for the hunger games threads, even if they're perfectly on topic. They'll delete those threads if even one character out of 48 isn't /pol/ related. Like fuck off mods, those are the best threads. THE BEST.

Since when, retard? There was never a problem with this on /sp/. Making a new general causes literally zero problems, and expecting people to stay in a dead thread for two days creates several.

On a more perfect 4chan, I'd tell you to stop being a jack-ass and wait til page 9. It's not the mods' faults people are faggots about bump-limited threads.
>>
>>455715
>Which board has the most assblasted do it for free mods that ban stuff even if it's on topic?

Funny. /vr/ instantly came to mind. We have a sticky that explains which consoles are and aren't considered retro. Dreamcast is considered retro, but DC threads get nuked all the time.

Injecting any non-/pol/ opinion into a discussion gets your post nuked pretty quickly, but racist shitposting is perfectly okay. Assorted other posts get nuked for completely inexplicable reasons. Expect to get banned for "Quality of Posts" totally at random.
>>
>>456288
>/sp/
Well, no one expected shitposters to have the concept of fucking rules. But, that is how it is everywhere else, retard. Now that you are you out of shitposting land, you now have the follow the traditional etiquette and rules of generals. A bumped limit thread doesn't mean it is dead, it just means it can be bumped off. On a slow board like /asp/, that thread could last fucking days. The only reason to break the cancer general culture is because you want to shitpost.

If you are going to have cancer generals, you are going to follow the culture and rules of cancer generals. The mod/jannys are rightfully deleting your threads which break the fucking rules. Go try play your general game on /vg/ and see how far you get. They'll nail you harder for what you are doing the your janny/mods.

>>
>>455956
B-but /a/ told me /v/ was the shitposting board!?
>>
>>456389
>>>/co/80338843
LOL

But seriously though. I don't know what the fuck is up with /co/'s moderation. Some shit that gets deleted quickly even on fucking /v/ can last for a while on /co/, and then there's things that can go innocuously that will get deleted anyway. There's also all the bloody thread-derailing political debates of which more often than not only one side gets deleted or only one post out of an entire thread-consuming argument is removed. Aside from that, non-/co/ media threads have all kinds of lifespans before deletions or being moved, if either happens at all. It's gotten to the point where I'm starting to wonder if there are certain biases in favor of and/or against certain franchises; for whatever reason the latest Star Wars film has been treated as /co/ material occasionally, for example.
>>
>>456386

There is literally zero (0) rules in the Global Rules or /asp/ rules that lay out this retarded policy, you jackass.

When a thread hits the bump limit, it's abandoned and then falls off the board. There is nothing wrong with making a new general once the bump limit is hit. Deleting new generals only causes traffic to leave the site, while somehow simultaneously creating several other threads devoted to individual topics, so literally everyone loses.
>>
>>456721
Yes, because like the majority of the site rules, it isn't written you fucking cock sucker. Grow up and deal with the fact the mod is banning your shit because you are breaking the rules.
>>
>>456723

>Grow up and deal with the fact the mod is banning your shit because you are breaking the rules.

But we are objectively not breaking any rule, you petulant retard.

Lurk moar.
>>
/a/ mods are pathetic enough to bend to their autistic whims like muh spoonfeeding even though /m/ is a better anime discussion board despite welcoming Rec threads
That whiney attitude would not be tolerated by mods on any other board
>>
>>456600
Don't believe their lies.
>>
>>456626
its entirely common to get outright banned for hating a /co/ moderator's favorite show. even if the show is maligned for having a shitty art style or SJW influences like Steven Universe is.

adventure time also had this, from the chat logs it seemed like ALTERNATIVE was a massive fanboy so he might be the one pulling that shit.

this is why people have started outright avatarfagging around /co/ as pearl, connie, and other SU characters, like someone used to do with princess bubblegum. the mod allows that shit, but will flip out if other cartoon fandoms so much as make vectored cut outs of their waifus.

i really wish hiro was going to crack down on this sort of shit, and for a time after he first came, /co/ was modded decently, but now that they figured out he doesn't care, its back to the same old dirty tricks.
>>
>>455715
That's good though, those just degenerate into /pol/ shit, it's better to just discuss the hobby rather than the politics behind the hobby.
>>
>>457682
>it's better to just discuss the hobby rather than the politics behind the hobby
Try to tell that to the idiots on /v/ that seem to go there JUST for the politics surrounding video games. At least I can get away with letting my opinions out once in a while because of those people.

Nigger fuck off and die.
You and your cancerous generalfag friends are the reason why 4chan is in such a shit state.

You are nothing but a fucking cancerous growth on this site. The concept of a 24/7 general thread violated everything this site was made for and how it operated during the best of its years.

Just fuck off and stop making generals.
Your presence is the last thing 4chan needs.
>>
>>457678
>even if the show is maligned for having a shitty art style or SJW influences like Steven Universe is.
>SJW influences

It's a fictional work, dammit. Bringing real world culture anxieties into the fictional world instantly sours the conversation, because you brung cultural vitriol into a work which is not inherently vitriolic.

If doesn't matter what political ideology it is, bringing if into /co/ or /a/ or /v/ is a recipe for disaster and a potential for banning due to tangential, emotion-dtiving shitposting. How fucking hard is it to understand that the most mods don't want politically-tangential cultural discussion outside of /pol/ , /r9k/ , and /b/ ? Goddamn.

Arguing art style is OK, though.
>>
>>456626
Funny /co/'s mods don't feel this way about hungry games, where they just delete that shit on-sight or /trash/ it.
>>
Fucking /asp/ mod deletes every active wrestling thread because he enjoys having a dead fucking board. Fuck him in the ass.
>>
>>457850

>A general is the reason every other thread on 4Chan is shit

Makes sense.

Generals are perfectly acceptable. The problem arises when assclown mods delete separate threads they feel should just be in the general. Like it fucking matters.

>>Generals are perfectly acceptable
No they aren't. Generals don't fit on 4chan at all and are the source of a good majority of modern problems. None of the those problems steam from mods banning single threads he believes should be a general.
>>
>>458258

Nothing about a general stops you from having other threads for more specific topics, you autist. Generals also allow for sustained discussion on more niche topics, like Olympic Weightlifting generals on /fit/.
>>
>>458329
>Nothing about a general stops you from having other threads for more specific topics
>make a thread which already has a general
>404 because no one cares because there is already a general
>GO BACK TO YOUR FUCKING CIRCLEJERK GENERAL FAGGOT
Kill yourself, generalfag. Generals don't belong on the site at all. Generals next to /never/ have discussion.
