I believe it. I accidentally posted Milo Yiannopoulos video on /v/ and I was banned for "Advertising." I tried to appeal the ban but they denied it of course. And this struck me as odd and thinking most of the mods are SJW. Honestly, I don't mind SJW's it's only the certain type of SJW that I hate.
One theory I've heard is that captcha is somehow tied to your Google account and all of your posts is associated with it. But I have no concrete evidence. At the end of the day I don't think 4chan is 100% trusted. But, I post here for the anonymity (if it's even available) and honesty. I can call anyone a faggot and I don't have to feel remorseful. Also, I think mods know who's who. As if you work at a call center and they all go, "Look at this shitposter again." But that's my 2 cents.

I don't know if it's just me. But do you remember when /b/ was so popular back in 2007/2008 whenever you would post and if it was not bumped enough it would 404 like within a minute or so. Nowadays you can post and not have anyone respond to it and it takes about 10 minutes for it to completely 404.
My theory is that the entire world isn't posting in one 4chan website. I believe we're in small chatrooms for smaller regions or something. Next day you're now shadowed into another "chatroom" of random users on 4chan and repeats. I think they do this to prevent server overflow or something.

I haven't seen the CP for months. I think they've finally caught him. They always deleted his posts too; it's just that if you're determined, you can get around any Internet ban. You can't ban the account because 4chan doesn't have accounts, and if you ban the IP address, it's extremely easy to just get another one.
This isn't really a conspiracy theory, but I'm fairly convinced that the 4chan moderators are the same sort of people who moderate any Internet forum. 4chan is meant to be a special wonderful place where you can be free of the usual bullshit of having a public identity, and while a lot of the users see it that way, the moderators absolutely do not.
