Anyone else, as they've grown up, become really bothered by lolicon?
In my teens and early 20s I used to not care, had a "whatever floats your boat" attitude and ignored it. However I guess my paternal instinct has kicked in and I find it utterly repulsive and triggering now, to the point where I wish it was banned from 4chan or at least there was someway to filter it so I never had to see it. It's a pedo content, period, and it's bothersome that there are people out there who like it and act so creepy about it.

to me its the same argument as drugs. until you tell me who the actual victim is, then it shouldnt be illegal. a single drug user doesnt create any victim, except perhaps himself. a pervent who isnt creating perverted materials is not creating any victim.
nor is he a moral failure. because perversions are generally not a choice. they just are. if you satisfy that unwelcome side of you without making any other person a victim, i do not see why society or justice should get involved.

No, because I've learned it's a fantasy disconnected from reality and has nothing to do with real children.
The odd thing about Westerners is that they are legitimately more upset by lolicon than live action movies and television shows and novels where "underage" characters (sometimes played by "underage" actors) are shown engaging in sexual activities or are portrayed in a sexual light. It's almost unheard of for anyone to complain about such content. It's only lolicon that bothers anyone. And it doesn't even have to be lolicon; simply having a loli character, for any purpose, is enough to trigger many people. Shit, even high school aged characters are enough to trigger people. And they don't even have to be doing anything except sitting around in a club room.
