I don't get it
>>
>people are finally getting banned for drakeposting
About time.
>>
>>438154
/a/ has relatively strict moderation, probably more strict than /tv/ and /v/.
>>
>>438160
Reddit.
>>
>>438154
The mod personally hates the drake Meme/ Reaction image series

Believe or not, outside of the rules mods and jannies are just as much if not more culture fags than the rest of 4chan.

When they think some meme isn't funny or a sign of another websites traffic they'll try to destroy it. Think about all those faggots that shitpost when they think a meme is forced and then give them mod powers.

So basically you posted drake on /a/ and the mod decided that your intention was to solely post that drake meme rather than reply to that comment regardless if the post itself was within topic and thus banned you.

You see the same shit on /v/ with the Mario autist meme. Despite the threads being about mario, despite the meme being about videogames, the thread gets deleted and OPs banned.

Why? Because the mod doesn't find it funny and believes that the popular use of unfunny meme (which is perceived as forced) is a form of shitposting and thus lowering the quality of the website despite evidence to the contrary.

But even if all of /v/ liked it, the masses don't matter because that would mean changing the board culture from whatever standard the mods prefer (I.E the same mentality that lead to 7chan trying to be a time capsule). You see the opposite with banposting , an offtopic meme which often isn't banned on /v/.
>>
>>438180

A fossil from an era where moot felt that reaction images with texts were not appropriate on anything but /b/, back before everyone unironically called things memes. The only reason it's still there is for situational excuse to ban.

Drakeposting is bannable, because lots of people on /a/ tell them to fuck off and the fact they are always shitposting. It has nothing to do the mods/jannys and all to do with /a/ doesn't want them. Same as the frogs.

Just admit that /a/ has a hidden rule that only allows anime reaction images.
>>
>>438256
Report the other reaction images. Nobody said they were okay. It's just that Drakeposting is the stuff that gets reported the most because the highest number of people find them worth reporting. You're taking a bigger risk by posting Drake. Also, the captcha just gave me an image that seems to be a bunch of piles of poop. What the fuck?
>>

>All images and resulting discussion should pertain to anime or manga.
Congrats anon, you didn't even read the rules. You technically can only post anime images on /a/, however this rule is generally only enforced when you using memeposting images like drake or pepe.
>>
Ban images. 4chan should be text-only.
>>
Banned on /b/ twice for GR15 and once for raiding my friend's stream, banned on /mlp/ 4 times for NSFW, banned on /g/ once for GR15, banned on /v/ once for 2 Babies 1 Fox and once for GR15, banned on [s4s] once for GR3 (posted an image of a dude syringing shit down his dick), banned on /sp/ once for proxy, banned on /int/ once for GR15, once for offtopic and twice for proxy.

I don't know why I'm even giving you the time of day but moot(literally who etc. etc.) once said /v/ has the simplest fucking rules: TALK ABOUT VIDEO GAMES.

Asking for nudes of a girl who just so happens to work for a video game company is about as on-topic as making a video game thread on /tv/ because that game just so happened to show up for like 2 seconds on a TV show

Most of my bans I get but going off on a tangent for a single post doesn't really make sense to me as bannable.
>>
>>439748
This is always bannable. You cannot write that post off as a mere accident, you knew what you were typing and that it had nothing to do with video games and that it just feeds more off topic discussion.

People have it in their heads that it's okay to talk about futa on a video game board because the mods don't punish for it enough, because loads of violations constantly slip through the cracks. But you make a post like that, you're always taking a risk.

>>
>>440690

/sp/ here.

Fuck the mods. I literally don't know how they cannot understand some basic fucking facts:

1. In a sports game there's this thing called half time, commercials, and time outs which means from 3 to 30 minutes of no sports. Thus posters in a thread will often talk about off topic stuff until action resumes and that's okay.
2. In live sporting events there are crowds of people some which are sexy or look stupid or do something funny. There are also tv commercials and posters in a thread talk about both the crowd and commercials and that's okay since it's part of the sporting event.
3. Sports have seasons and there is often many months between the end and beginning of a season. During these doldrums, /sp/ fills the gap with other threads which has been accepted for years.

Fucking pissed me off when I got a 3 day ban for making a webm of a guy falling down the aisle and wiping out the beer seller during a Cowboys game.

That's when you're supposed to discuss the game that you've just watched. During the actual game you obviously watch the game = no posting.

see my take on this as to why he could see the dog. now I am basing this all off my Chinese background, but the dog was, in a way, the escorter. it is said that when people die, they are escorted to where they have to go, be it heaven or hell. as to the kid seeing it? it is rumored that children can see things we can't, due to them being purer or something. so you'll often get children going to churches or hospitals or temples, and say that they see uncles and aunties with warm glows behind them or beasts and sickly looking people in rags and tags. as to the dream, dead and dying loved ones tend to, for some reason, try to leave some message or enter our dreams, but alot also, in the 7 days following death, may revisit familiar places, go home, sit on their favourite couch or something, as if to say goodbye one last time.

I'm going to explain a concept to you that you may or may not be familiar with. Being an American based image board there is a concept in our society where no one backs a loser. Might makes right is writ large across the acts that go unseen while the general public heaps scorn on those who get caught up. If you get your post reported and deleted it just means you're part of the nigger underclass not subtle enough to integrate your meme into the current lexicon.

This of course isn't even taking into account people like myself who have overlapping browsing windows with people forcing their own memes. If you're not pumping out your own content while ACTIVELY reporting competing memes why are you even signing up for the game? You're posting like it's still 2007 when we've moved onto the next level.

Geez, looking through these and all the other stories I hear makes me wonder why /mlp/fags complain about moderation as much as they do. They get away with everything up to and including blatantly off-topic shit and thinly-veiled raid threads, as long as they attach pony images and don't make it blatantly obvious or post porn. Even then, multiple second-hand accounts confirmed the threads are usually just deleted and rarely the OP might be banned.
