I suddenly get it. Her name is Wasure, but they always call her Wasuri because they keep FORGETTING her name. (TL Note: Wasure means forget.) And then someone has to step in and correct them.
It's like in Scryed when Straight Cougar keeps getting Mimori's name wrong and calling her Minori, and she has to keep saying "It's Mimori!"
Why are the Japanese so painfully unfunny?

they keep calling her wasuri because that's the name the GET decided; only later in the thread did people decide wasure was better

There's not really anyone stopping you from calling her whatever you please, but yeah, I prefer Wasure (bc of the joke)
