Decades of intense lurking and training are required to become a successful [s4s] poster. As a child, I saw anon after anon attempt to break into this board, only to die trying -- or worse. Taking their failures to heart, I vowed to approach [s4s] the right way: the hard way. I dedicated myself to the study of memes and board culture. I read every archived thread. I unspoilered every ses. I memorized every textbook on the matter. I trained day and night, focusing the whole of my being to this one goal, because I knew I had finally found something worth devoting my life to. A dream I had to chase, no matter the odds or obstacles and who got in my way. [s4s] began to define my entire existance. One day, I was finally ready. I logged into the [s4s] interface and started my first thread.

Of the more than 60 different communities on 4chan, its random imageboard, /b/, is by far the most popular. (It recently collected its500 millionth post.) /b/ was the second board Poole added to 4chan in 2003, right after its anime board, /a/. Since then, /b/ has spawned the Anonymous hacker movement and been behind some of the Internet's most well known pranks.
And yet while all of this may inspire you to make /b/ your top spot, fight the urge. It’s not as glamorous as you think.
If you want maximum replies, try to keep your post under 150 characters. Nobody wants to read a long paragraph of text, let alone several paragraphs.
More people will read your posts if you use an image.
