Funny thing, new boards... when they're new, nobody fucking goes there. And the discussion is fantastic.
The hypothetical /cine/ board would fall the same way /tv/ did. Yes, /tv/ fell. /tv/ use to be good. Talked about old movies and even non-English (gasp!) things made before 1960 on it. And they were great discussions. Had a goddamn blast. Even asked about things I didn't know the names of (old French movies, seemed to come up a lot), and got the answers.
Now /tv/ has more than 104 people on it! And you think it's bad and need a new board?! Your new board, in 3 years will need its own Balkanization.
The OP in 2018:
