I met Hiroyuki before he was administrator (in 2014). Moots retirement was announced and they were doing a questionnaire at the Kinokuniya in Osaka.

I went and had the opportunity to meet him. I told him that I really respected him and looked forward to him being our next administrator. He said that he'd love to but didn't know if he could do it. I responded, "Mr. Nishimura, I am too slow to follow." He got a blank look on his face and as I walked away I heard him mumble to himself, "Too slow too follow... Too slow too follow... Too slow too follow..."
