What other, better message-boards exist out there besides 4chan?

Great site if you're a salty loser who hates Undertale.

They asked for message boards, you fucking dipshit.
>>422801
I want a message board that I can aspire to. You know, spending too much time hanging around 4chan I eventually fall into becoming a degenerate moralless scumbag. If I surround myself with winners, my hope is that I won't fall apart, I'll rise upward.
I want a nice place with cool, intelligent people. I want to ask them for advice and offer advice to people. Share stuff we like. I come to 4chan to get answers to questions, and grow into a better person.
>>422807
Couldn't give two fucks about video games.
>>422809
Imageboards, message boards, whatever. Just some place to chat with people. Ability to share media is a bonus.
There's Futaba and 2ch, both utterly dwarf 4chan in size and user base
>>422820
There's also 8ch, which utterly dwarfs 4chan in quality.

I've been using Telegram, IRC, and an app called 'Two Way' to socialise and communicate with people all over the world. Asking questions, searching for general advice, chatting about stuff, offering my own suggestions.
I would like more options though.

4chan is much, MUCH larger than Futaba.
>>422880
8cuck pls
>>422960
Futaba receives more site traffic than 4chan despite only being a text board.
4chan does receive slightly more sight traffic than 2channel however, at least during it's population peeks.
Is this the birth of an epic new meme?
Lainchan is slow but consistent quality posts. It has a very tech literate atmosphere. Check it out familam.
>>422981
You have futaba and 2channel reversed.

This probably won't fit your ideal message board idea, but Hacker News or some niche subreddits seem like the closest things to this. You could also try some more low profile communites like the ars technica forums or linus tech tip forums.
/q/ 2.0 is probably not the best place to get an answer to your question, because if you or someone else here has heard of some other message board, it's probably shit.

>nigger admin spends donation money on pizza, his cellphone and buying mac books
ahahaha
>>423210
No, he really isn't and that site is diametrically opposed to anything oldfags would've stood for. Kalyx isn't an oldfag, he's just a legitimate faggot who started using imageboards after 2009.
There's endchan.xyz which allows files up to 350MB in size.
I don't know how the fuck that would be sustainable if the site ever takes off but it's cool for filesharing right now.
>>423214
If you think that being a trans who hides in the dark and NEETS it up on thier own message board is "opposite" if what oldfags did, Bridget would like a word with you (IE you've drank some dank stormfag coolaids)
>>423223
>endchan.xyz
>first thing I see is a guy fucking a horse
>>423234
Are you kidding? He's not a trans. Don't act like you're some "epic oldfag" because you read an Encyclopedia Dramatica article on 4chan. And stop calling me a stormfag you dumbfuck, I am the furthest thing from a racist.

Me too, anon. If I had an answer, I'd tell you
Gaia
Neopets
Five Lifetimes, One Love
As always IRC is the oasis in a desert of shit.

Here's the thing. Winners don't spend time on the internet hunting for advice. They find it in the world around them.
>>422818
>You know, spending too much time hanging around 4chan I eventually fall into becoming a degenerate moralless scumbag
You must be quite malleable if the behavior of others significantly affects your own.
>>422799
Depends on your tastes really

Yes, that is approximately the face people on GameFAQs make when you call them salty. It's quite amusing.

4chan is a cesspool of shitposting and far-right Stormfags, but for the most party, everyone here is on equal grounds and can say most anything without fear of repercussion. You just have to take the bad with the good. The special interest boards are about the only boards worth using though. Anything that's off-topic or centered on politics is bound to be a feeding ground for the lowest subhuman rejects.
>>422807
GameFAQs has even worse moderation than 4chan. The karma system locks you out of major boards until you waste weeks or months logging in consistently enough to earn the privilege of posting there.
The moderation system shaves off karma for posts that violate the rules, so users with particularly high karma (e.g. Sages) can effectively violate the rules as much as they want. Meanwhile, a new user who violates the rules is likely going to lose enough karma to end up in purgatory, which removes their posting privileges altogether. The whole system is rigged to enforce a "good ol' boy" userbase.

8ch is overrun by pedophiles, GooberGate and /pol/ exiles who self-moderate themselves. The boards don't get nearly as much traffic as 4chan due to the lack of quality posts paired with tyrannical user moderation effectively ensuring that no one is allowed to have a contrary opinion.
There used to be megachan, but that was fucking ages agp, and it was slow even back then.
7 had a couple okay boards, but I haven't been there in a long time, either.
I hate the 420 blaze it faggit stuff, but /1701/ is cool if you like Star Trek.
>>422799
4chan has been worse since moot and rapeape purged the core /pol/ and /v/ users.
Most went to Twitter or 8ch.
On the upside Twitter became a lot more entertaining because of it.
>>427236
>the core /pol/ and /v/ users
They were the retards who thought they were in good company.
