This is what happened.

All other replies don't know what they're talking about. Some people raided /qa/ last night with a ton of threads of something like a picture of /g/'s desktop thread Tidus with the bodytext reading "MEMES" in all caps. They were so numerous that they bumped 75% of /qa/ off the board. Mods showed up and deleted all of them.
