Containment boards only work when there's a rule to contain them, but then you could just make a rule that you can't post them at all which is much better than having a containment board.

"Containment Board" doesn't work. It's more like an "Incubator Board".

/pol/ is essentially /b/ with standard rules enforced. I personally don't think the fallout would be a all that bad if it were deleted but people seem to cling to the idea that chaos would ensue.
