Now that the Oculus Rift will ship to the general public in two months and other VR devices will debut soon after that, I think we need a new board for VIRTUAL REALITY GAMES and DEVICES ONLY

I really don't want NEETs coming into VR threads shitting them up because they're jealous which they're already doing right now as the Oculus Rift has just opened up to pre-orders.

We can call the board /vrg/ for Virtual Reality Gaming.

Thoughts?

Who the hell wants to pay $600 for a fancy pair of interactive 3d glasses? Seems like a gimmick that isn't ready for primetime, like buying a tablet computer in 1999.

Maybe one day. The technology is out there but the barriers of entry are to big for the general public to use or develop. If you are lucky enough to get one, then kindly use /vg/ or /g/.

In a few years when the technology develops. I wound mind seeing these boards.

/3D/ 3D printing
/net/ decentralized internets like TOR, i2p, and freenet.
