Would /v/ be better if it were as strictly moderated as /a/?
I've seen about five porn threads reach almost 300 posts in a span of ~4 hours the past few days. Any moderation at all would be really helpful.

Any board strictly moderated and having users on it that actually give a shit about the board and actively try to fix shit themselves, will always be better. The users caring is the key point here. A board that doesn't have users that care or is incapable of gaining a gathering of people who care is incapable of actually leaving its shitposting pool
Most shitposters shitpost, because there's no real consequences. At the moment, their threads can reach bump-limit, before it's dealt with. If it were deleted, before anyone even posted, and this were to happen several times, most shitposters would just give up, and we'd only be left with the few dedicated ones.

If it gets rid of the webcomic threads with
[spoiler]LOL[spoiler]
than i am all for it
Yes and ban console faggotry.
>>398565
Absolutely. Too bad it's not weeb enough.
More moderation has never fixed anything and actively killed /sp/.
>>398565
why is /a/ monitored more then /b/?
>>398788
pls someone tell me
>>398788
No one cares about that heaping pile of trash.
>>398642
This. I think what people want is /metav/ to be /trash/ but for video games. Which to me sounds like the perfect idea
>>398819
I'm for the creation of /metav/ if gamergate isn't allowed on it either.

Mods and janitors are not omnipresent and require reported posts to catch everything.
/v/ needs more anons reporting things.
>>398565
That would imply that /a/ is better than /v/, which it fucking isn't.
That's not saying that /v/ is a great board, but rather that both of them are pretty poor.
>>398565
>Would /v/ be better if it were moderated
yes
>>398870
Both boards are shit, but /v/ is at least aware of how shit they are
>>398642
