Had an excellent thread about Chuck Berry being too old to play that evolved into 50 rock & roll history and the influence of Elvis and other greats.

It happens. It takes a lot of digging though.
When Joanna Newsom's new album leaked, we had some really great discussion and interpretation of the themes in her lyrics.
It only takes two dedicated and interested people to get the ball rolling, but that's a big "only", as there never seem to be even one. /mu/ has mostly given up on itself in terms of discussion. It's nice when it happens though.

/mu/ is the only board that actually benefits from generals as the rest of threads is either memes or Pitchfork shit
