They were allowed on /b/ until moot said no more avatar fagging. Then they moved to cripplechan before coming back to /trash/. 4chan was always their home. Most of them seem to like it there
I mean I'd be fine with an /rp/ board, but make it so like its mostly for Hunger Game threads, monster girl shit, and anything anime or Japanese related. Make /tg/ more for western type games

Random avatarfagging and pretending to be one specific character is frowned upon and usually gets deleted. Quest threads where one person runs it like an RPG and everyone else votes to control the protagonist do go on /tg/, even if there's a loud group that hates them.
