Would the future of 4chan be full oldfags reminiscing about the old days? Would new people come to know this place when social media is slowly overtaking forums and imageboards?

they have different appeals and demographics. sites like reddit and to an extent facebook likely replace web forums more than they do 4chan and other imageboards. the user experience here is too different. and doesn't 4chan have its most users ever currently? at least there are more people here now than in the "good old days" (hah) everyone likes to reminisce over.
