I'm liking /wsr/ so far. It's like a good version of /a/.

It's a nice board.

I derive some sort of sick, twisted pleasure from helping people who need help. They're asking all the questions that they couldn't ask on /a/ and I'm happy to give them the answers.

That's not sick, you're just nice!
>>
>>388134
>>388191
niceness = weakness
>>
>>388193
But weakness can be fun
in some circumstances
.
>>
>>388193
The nicest people I've known have been the strongest (socially and literally).
>>
>>388129
Should I migrate? I keep getting warnings and bans for shitposting even though everyone on /a/ shitposts.
>>
>>388416
Well, you're not going to get away with shitposting on /wsr/ either. Go there if you actually like helping people out or if you have lots of questions to ask.
>>
>>388416
Yes, just tread lightly

I'm curious to see the culture develop around it, just like any other board.
I think there should be a sticky about properly using the internet, however. The sticky should contain links to image search engines, guides to narrowing search terms and other things that should be common knowledge.

/wsr/ is turning out to be a nice board
>>
>>388134
It's kinda pointless desu

Jesus man, people call it "sympathetic joy". I can't imagine what shitty life you had to confuse it for perversion, but carry on

probably it won't catch on, but >>>/wsr/7391

What impresses me is just how many helpful people there are, especially compared to the hellhole that is /r/. You can tell there were a ton of people on /a/ who legitimately wanted to "spoonfeed", so to speak, but until now couldn't do it without being looked down upon.

/a/ is already good, but /wsr/ is perfect as an /a/ / /b/ 2.0. It has a lot of shitposting, but enough people who know what they're talking about to be very fast, and it's not an anime board, just a lot of the threads happen to be anime related. As long as the thread is a request there should be no moderation, allow the shitposting but let the community deal with it if they want.
>>
>>391234
I disagree with this. Proper moderation is vital. The only reason it's doing as well as it has been is because mods have been taking care of business where necessary.
>>
>>391317
I haven't seen it, or really been paying attention, but it's still pretty low quality which is fine. It's okay for every retard to be able to post as long as it doesn't get bogged down into one thing like /r/, keep the topics diverse
>>
>>388129

It will probably die at some point just like /r/ did.

Requests boards don't work because nobody sits around waiting to deliver sauce.
>>
>>391400
They do if it can be a discussion board.
>>
>>388129
Yeah, I lurked /r/ regularly to help with /a/ questions but didn't like sifting through all the porn.
>>
i thought it was supposed to be a tech support board as well to help clean up /g/?right now it's literally just anime and i hope the board doesn't make it out of the trial period.another failed experiment
>>
The most important thing is that they should lurk more
>>
>>389514
tbqh family I shit on spoonfeeding on my own board but I don't do so because I don't like helping, but because it was overtaking my board with spoonfeeding threads about the same exact semi-common knowledge shit every day that you can pick up with a little lurking
>>
>>392742
This.

>Where's the mega file with the codices?
It's in the OP of this very thread. Lurk...at all.
>w-well fuck you, asshole
>>
>>389514
It's because there's now no major repercussions to their home board.
