4chan is getting bloated, at least delete a couple of boards.
>>387462
Why? How does an increase in the number of boards impact you?
>>387488
Users become separated and boards become slower, slow isn't necessarily bad but there's a point when it becomes a problem.
>>387496
That's a nice hypothesis. What boards do you see slowing down? The split between /aco/ and /d/ is already documented to death.

Why does /cm/ exist
>>387500
/a/ and /r9k/ have both become extremely slow
>>387496
>Users become separated
That implies people are obligated to only ever look at one board. Further more, if a new board is on a popular topic that didn't really have a place before, it would probably increase traffic instead of decreasing it.
>boards become slower
Do you have any concrete data to support this? Even if that were true, it's not a massive enough dip in board speed to become noticeable or become a "problem" that you're going on about
>>387509
/r9k/ has always been relatively slow but I think the decrease in traffic there ought to be blamed on reinstituting the Robot, which isnt necessarily bad.
Also, /a/ has been going as fast as ever. I dont think 2-3000 posts per hour qualifies as "extremely slow"

yesssss.......
let's start with /a/.
Check 'em

/a/ is only slow because people just don't like anime anymore.
