We should make a board for 6th-gen video gaming.
/v/ is too fast and cares more about 7th/current gen games. The only 6th gen threads that make it past a couple hours are dc/gc/ps2/xbox/etc recommendation threads. any other 6th gen discussion dies out pretty fast.
/vr/ is on the fence about it because <6th-gen is already massive, and including 6th gen would just make it too massive. Plus it doesn't fill the quota of what's considered retro (240p resolution, cartridge based, etc etc)

>giving one generation a board
Worst idea ive ever heard desu senpai
why don't you just make a general on /vg/?

Fucking agreed, add the Dreamcast and GBA too as /vr/ still heavily resists the former and is too autistic to accept the latter.

It may seem silly to give a generation its own board, but I think it's necessary. MAYBE 5th gen could be tolerated there too just to even things out.

There is /vg/ for slower generals, you could make a 6th gen thread there. What's needed is a dedicated Nintendo board so those people from /v/ and /vp/ will move over there if a new gaming related board should be added.
Why is the average /v/ poster so stupid?
I just created a 6th gen general. Get your asses over here.

Fuck never mind. /vg/ is shit anyway.
