Hello 4chan moderation team.
Let's talk about /tv/.
>>385978
holy shit, /tv/ staff didn't feel the need to have 1 or more GENERAL threads for the new movie?
>>386030
Nope. That wouldn't be "fun".
>>385978
Poe should honestly have taken Finn's place though.
>>386069
How old are you?
>>385978
>4chan moderation team
Good one.
>>386144
Blacked thread at 27.
Let's see how high it goes.
>>386155
Blacked thread at 32. I think I'll report it now.

Good job, mods.
Someone did clean up the board. They deleted the threads complaining.
Nice job janiturds
WHY HAVE THESE MODS NOT BEEN REPLACED?
It's blatantly obvious to everyone that these "mods" are working (directly or indirectly) for a marketing company. They've fucking sold out. Since their corruption has been repeatedly documented and no action has been taken, no statement has been made, we can only assume that the 4chan admin staff are part of this arrangement to defraud the users of 4chan.
And it IS fraud. This site sells 4chan passes and advertising space under the premise that commercial spam advertising is against the rules, thus ensuring the forum is as enjoyable as possible. People pay honest money to this site expecting standards to be maintained and they're being scammed.
I've been on this great site for about 8 years and this is the lowest it's ever been. Anyone involved in this two-faced, chickenshit shill operation should be ashamed of themselves. If you're a mod or janitor and you don't care about the quality of 4chan's content then fuck off and let someone honest do the job.
>>386325
>something major and globally popular on incredibly high levels
>board gets spammed with it while its fresh
>THE MODS MUST BE MARKETING SHILLS
Nah, stop being stupid. It's a fucking big deal, whether you want to think it is or not, and this happens every time for this sort of shit. There is nothing wrong with it and it will naturally die down
>>386325
>People pay honest money to this site expecting standards to be maintained and they're being scammed.
Purchasing a 4chan pass does not guarantee you anything other than the ability to post without captchas. The idea you are owed something because you contributed money to the site is exactly why moot was so averse to donations.
>>386341
Why is there no sticky then?
This shit could be contained to a handful of threads and the rest of the board could function as normal. Just a few hours of containment threads and deletions and the board would be usable. Instead we have mods taking a backseat and letting the board get flooded.
There have been similar spam incidents in the past; Breaking Bad finale, for example. The mods and janitors have a responsibility to deal with this shit. It's literally their job. Where are the deletions of overlapping threads? Where are the bans for shitposting Star Wars meme threads?
Something like this happens and the mods take a day off? It's either complete incompetence or corruption. Both deserve a rethink of the /tv/ moderation team.
Just because there's a release of a cash-in sequel to an overrated kid's movie doesn't mean /tv/ should become a fucking Star Wars forum.
>there is nothing wrong with it
There is if you want to discuss something other than Star Wars on /tv/ because all threads are slid into obscurity.
>>386370
Fair point. But it should be declared at the point of purchase that there will be commercial spam allowed on the site now.
>>386392
It doesn't need one. This shit has always happened and has never been needed to be jammed into a single thread. Something with size and hype will always temporally flood a board and there really is nothing wrong with it. When its fresh and new its expected and stopping that is being a actual fun wrecker. This is how the site is meant to be ran, not fucking stuffing shit into generals and singular threads or giving shit entire boards. Once its period has died down, THEN its a problem
If you don't know about any of this, you are clearly fucking incredibly new to the site. Shit like CODE GEASS is fucking great
>>386403
It's a little known fact that Sunrise and Pizza Hut teamed up to pay moot for the right to spam 4chan.
>>385978
A new Star Wars movie is pretty much the biggest thing that can happen in /tv/ related topics and the board is on of the bigger ones without a generl board(for christ sake dont make another general board hiro). It will calm down eventually.
There's a few troll threads and the rest are all discussing a film on the television and film board. Just because it's popular at the current moment doesn't mean "BAN IT NOW! MOOODS!!!!"
It's fucking Star Wars, of course people will be talking all about it. Stop being an asshurt bitch who cries about how anyone discussing anything popular MUST without fail be some sort of marketing shill. The fact is that nobody would fucking pay a dime to market shit here because trolls looking to piss people off, and babies like you whining about it do all of the marketing work >for free.
Yeah guys, let us talk about new products without you complaining!
4chan is about people talking about stuff that people are into, cool stuff! Just get out of the way you know?
Let us just talk about our stuff! Star Wars is pretty fucking cool! 4chan likes Star Wars! Just fuck off if we can't talk about it! All we're doing is talking!
Star Wars is really popular, so let us talk about it!
All we're doing is talking about something that's popular! Who are you to say what we talk about?
Star Wars is good! Let us talk about it!
>>386498
You want to stop us talking about Star Wars?
Star Wars is good! We talk about it!
>>386500
Have fun.
>>386502
4cha is cool
Star Wars is cool
>>386510
I know, right? Have you seen Star Wars (TM) at your local movie theater, yet? It would not be an exaggeration to say that Star Wars: The Force Awakens (TM) is the hottest movie of all time - or, it would be, were it not for other cinematic masterpieces such as Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (TM), which you should purchase on DVD or Blu-Ray if you do not already. You don't want your friends to be talking about Star Wars (TM) without being able to contribute to the conversation, do you?
If you have watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens (TM), why not watch it again, so as to better appreciate this cinematic gem? Do you have friends who haven't yet watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens (TM)? Watch it again with them! With Star Wars: The Force Awakens (TM), the possibilities are truly limitless!
>>386512

>>386325
They've also stickied fucking Assassin's Creed threads on /v/.
There's a difference between "fun" threads and shitposting, and that difference should be apparent.
>Is this thread causing problems for other users?
If yes, delete. If no,
>Are people enjoying this thread?
If yes, don't delete it.
This shit isn't hard, mods. For fucks sake. Don't delete harmless shit, and delete the things that cause problems. You always do the opposite.
>stop talking about movies in the movie board and plz reply to my epik cuney and celeb threads
heh xdxd
