How long did you lurk before making your first post? I lurked for three years.
10 minutes
6 months
/v/ in a month, /a/ in about six months
I just started posting without reading anything. I still don't what this site is about.
>>385572
few hours
I think two/three weeks.

This.

10 years. This is my first post.
I didn't lurk at all. Afterwards, I lurked for about 6 months.
I think I discovered ED at age 13 in 2007 and read it for a full year before deciding 4chan was interesting enough. However I barely posted, I barely understood English back then. Merely contributed to creepy threads on /x/
I do remember asking on /b/ how did mods get elected and getting replied with "it's all in the pants"
>>385572
About a month of lurking the archives
I just jumped right in! :)
Four years on ED
>>385572
About a month.
>>385572
I didn't wait at all. My first post was asking what cheese pizza means,
That was a big mistake.
One year as I wasn't 18 yet and thought somehow they'd know. Started posting when /f/ started.
>>385893
lol faggot I was 12 when I started posting on 4chan, I wasn't a scared faggot like you
First heard of 4chan in 2006. Didn't really lurk until 2010 but still followed the events and the culture. Started posting sometime in 2012.
A few years.
I still don't post much, I usually prefer lurking.
I took just a few hours to familiarize myself with the conversations that took place on 4chan, and then I dove right in, since I figured I wouldn't really "get" this place until I actively participated in the culture.
I waited roughly a year before I made my first post
It was in a wiafu thread
I lurked /v/ on and off for about 4 years. I first really started posting around summer/fall of 2014. I'm sure I made a few posts before then, but nothing noteworthy.
>>385899
How long have you been here?
>>385572
/b/ for a year. For some reason I thought I would be followed by spooks if I posted. Then really got into posting on /b/ because it was funny back then.
I left /b/ after the bronies took over, then settled on /tv/ for awhile. I mostly frequent /sp/ now because the /tv/ mods are useless.

topkek
Only about four years or so. Refused to post when I was underage.
>>385572
/a/ I didn't lurk, I watched evangelion and made a wtfdijw thread the same night.
4chan in general, I didn't lurk, unless you count from the time I found /b/ and then read ED and know your maymay until I started coming here actively.... in that case 5 years. (2007 to 2012)
>>385572
Lurked daily from 2007 before I made my first post in 2010. Lurking was intermittent before then.
Never had anything good to say I guess.
If more people did that, the whole world would probably be a better place. People rarely stop to think about how their posts contribute to things.
Never lurked at all. It's just an imageboard, not a math exam. And my home board was /b/, so it wasn't exactly necessary. Imageboards really aren't that intricate where you need to study for years to get a grasp of it.
Hell, 4chan right at the top says "jump right in and discuss stuff that interests you!". The only time I lurked was on boards where I was actually new to the interest/hobby, so I read a lot and learned. Aside from that? Nah, it's unnecessary.

Forgot to mention, I've still never made a single new thread in all the time I've been here.
The idea that I'd be bumping off another thread has always just left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't like leaving footprints.
>>385572
A few months, I think 6? I got called an idiot or something and went back to lurk for another 2 months.
>>386004
2 weeks :^)
>>386413
Fuck off
>>385572
Around a month. Didn't try and make any threads till 2 or 3 more months went by.
Months.
>>385572
Not very long, my first post was an answer to a question. After that, a couple months.
>>385572
after some days I wanted to say something, but /b/ was very fast and I lost the thread.
Then I made a new thread of "how do i remain in the thread?" and was very fast to hunt it down, and had no idea how the bump system worked
after that, I lurked for six months.
When moving to /mu/ I lurked for a year
When moving to /int/ lurked for six months
to /co/, three months
now I stopped being a "main board" guy and post all over the place
The only rule not to screw up is "don't post about something that is probably very common in the board": it's the best way to fall for bait, and the board probably already discussed the topic to death and will regard your thread as bait and have no decent comments. eg, McDonalds in /ck/ or KLK on /a/ are probably triggers
>>385572
i don't actively post, i mostly lurk
i didn't need to lurk, because r/4chan already told me how to fit in
>>386577
>>385572
7 months because I couldn't the captcha
>>386461
kek
I don't remember, but i think i made only 20 posts in my 8 years of 4chan.
21 now.
>>385572
Three months, then someone chewed me out for using ellipses and then I actually deleted my post and apologise for being new...
About a day.
