What does it mean when i get an error when after posting anew thread but the still went up?

the thread after post successful loaded too fast.
it means 4chan is a poorly-coded website housed on extremely cheap servers.

It pretty much means you need to hit f5.
There was some sort of lag that caused you to open up the page that corresponded to the thread before the thread actually promulgated.
Hitting F5 mere miliseconds after you see the 404 will fix it.
In my experience, this usually happens on /r9k/, which makes sense because each post has to check against the Robot Filter.

This. 4chan has used the same server for 12 years (and it probably was just as old when moot found it in his neighbor's trash), so you can't really have high exceptions on it.
This has actually something to do with Cloudflare and its horrendous lag it produces.

That isn't true, the original servers got replaced with the money from DONATE OR DIE 2005 and then they got replaced again in 2009, check the news page http://www.4chan.org/4channews.php?all#106
>Towards the end of the year I purchased the first of what would eventually replace the site's aging Dell severs, which were procured following our "DONATE OR DIE 2005" donation drive. I also unplugged the servers from the Internet for fun—sorry!
So the current servers are 6 years old;not 12.
