Can we get a consensus on what needs to happen to /d/ going forwards? Everyone agrees the mod needs to be forced to stop deleting discussion and that the no western rule needs to be removed completely, but how should everything else be handled?
I think we need a sticky.
A sticky would rule
>>384391
We need:
>the no western rule officially removed, and not just unenforced
>a sticky restating the new rules and make people feel at ease over posting again
>>385637
This
We need:
>the "no western" rule strictly enforced
>a sticky making the "no western" rule absolutely clear
>>388431
>mom I posted it again!
>>388834
>greentext for no purpose other than greentext
>>390596
who are you quoting?
Moving forward, western art will continue to be banned on /d/.
>>384391
why does anyone bitch about porn boards? get a warm body next to u ffs
>>390601
It's good to know that the users have absolutely no say in what happens on their board.
I wonder what would happen if something like this happened on /a/...
All the porn boards are dead (aside from /gif/, but that's because 75% of the posts are just begging for sauce). There are far more important boards that have issues that need solving.
>>390765
Yeah but /d/ WASN'T dead until the mod killed it.
That's the whole problem. It's mods forcing their ideas of what a board should be on the users, even though the users overwhelmingly disagree.

Western art is being posted on /d/ right now, in the OPs. It's already allowed.
What we want is an official sticky saying that it's allowed so people will come back, and so this doesn't happen ever again. Otherwise /d/ is /d/ead.

>western art is already allowed
This has happened before. A mod gets a stick up his ass and goes on a banning spree, there's an uproar, and he stops.
They refuse to change the rules because then they'd be admitting they were flawed, so they just let it happen again.
This is the entire problem. Outdated rules that don't reflect the nature of the board, and offer too much leeway for mods. It'll be the death of this site.

>and offer too much leeway for mods
this is my problem. the rules are totally arbitrary and exist only to let the mods fuck us
>>390858
I report western trash when I see it. Certainly it has been getting results; western garbage has been appearing less and less lately.

Probably because there's less and less posters senpai
